Ken Anderson's blaming Randy privately

Ken Anderson (former WWE star Mr. Kennedy) has continued to privately blame Randy Orton for his release from WWE. Anderson had actually hinted this in some recent interviews, but has never fully come out and said it.

It should be noted that both Anderson and Orton were thought of by many wrestlers as being good friends and he was said to be very unhappy about the whole situation since his wife and Orton’s wife were good friends as well. Many people close to the situation didn’t believe Orton had anything to do with Anderson’s firing, although the timeline of events seem to match up. This includes Kennedy dropping Orton on his bad shoulder during his first match back on Raw and Orton giving Anderson a big talk backstage afterwards that everyone was aware of. Then, a few days later, Anderson was released by the company.

This is of course the timeline that Anderson has been spelling out and discussing in interviews and why he feels this to be the case. Anderson did make it clear that Triple H often criticized his promos for being “too comedic for a main event” (which many find interesting considering Triple H’s involvement with DX). One thing that is clear is that he had some major heat on him within WWE over the public interviews about steroids (which he later tested positive for) and the general feeling is that the situation with Orton was the last straw of sorts. Plus, keep in mind when all of this went down during the “Denver Dabacle” week in what many described as a time where a lot of decisions made weren’t that rational.

Randy Orton seems to be a bit of a dick at times. Didn't get get Eugene another shot in the WWE, and then bitch about how out of shape he was? It wouldn't surprise me if Orton was behind Mr. Kennedy's release from the WWE. Kennedy was a good talent -- solid in the ring and on the mic. He had that extra charisma factor, too. If he had stuck around, I'd have liked to have seen him win the WWE Title this year, just to freshen things up.

Triple H often says stuff that contradicts what he is doing. I wonder if he just talks a lot of shit to be ironic or whatever, or if he is just a dick. I can't remember the last time I heard a completely serious John Cena promo.

I honestly think Kennedy didn't really get a fair shake, and that he deserves to get another chance, as it seems obvious to me that either RAW or SmackDown! (probably RAW more, though) could use a guy like him, especially given how relatively weak the main event scene on RAW is. I mean, with his last return I was honestly hoping he'd get beyond the glass ceiling, but he didn't and it just seems like WWE were too easily content to let go of a tremendous talent just from one mistake in particular, and perhaps Orton's backstage string-pulling, dunno.

Another thing I'd like to add is this: I believe that the WWE turned Kennedy into a face WAY too prematurely. I thought Kennedy did a great job as a heel during his feud with Flair. Unfortunately, this is a mistake that the WWE have continuously made throughout the years. Instead of taking a GREAT heel and making him an even GREATER heel (to the point where the fans absolutely love the character which can then lead to a huge face turn somewhere down the road), the WWE 'blows their load' and turns said wrestler into a lukewarm face. Time and time again, the WWE have done this since 2001.

Something to think about in reference to Kennedy: How many feuds did the guy actually have? I mean proper feuds. He had his stuff with Shawn Michaels, and I think he and MVP were teaming against Kane & The Undertaker regularly at one point. He also had tension with Finlay over him beating on Hornswoggle. But really, Kennedy was never involved in a really personal program with anyone. I find that really odd.

He had a one-off pay-per-view match with 'Taker because he complained of being bored with SmackDown! and wanting to move (9/8/6 ep. of SD! to be specific), which led to Teddy making a match for No Mercy between Kennedy and Undertaker but that was it, unless you count him teaming with M.V.P. to face the Kane and Undertaker in a series of tag matches. Other than that, there was a First Blood match that arose out of that between the two at Survivor Series '06.

Not much of a "feud", if you ask me.
