I know it should probably go in the TV forum but with it being about games, I thought this would be the best place for it.
I just got done watching it on the iPlayer and it was pretty cool. I think it's just a one off special and not a series like Screenwipe or Newswipe was. I don't think it'll work for anyone outside the UK but I'm sure it'll be on Youtube soon. The first 3 parts are on Youtube already but they aren't very good quality.

Link to search for it on youtube, later: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=charlie+brooker+gameswipe&search_type=&aq=f

It's only on the iPlayer until 10:49pm on the 6th of October but, like I said, it'll be on Youtube soon enough.

From what I know it's only a pilot so there could be a series. I enjoyed it and would like to see a series though.

According to Brooker's Twitter page, he'd do another special if asked, but he won't make a series of it. He may start covering games more in Screenwipe though.

If you enjoyed it, let the BBC know.

Charlie Brooker said on his Twitter:
If you enjoyed Gameswipe, let the BBC know. Maybe they'll 'do' more games stuff in future if they see a thirst

So, here is a link to contact the BBC and tell them you enjoyed it: Here (http://faq.external.bbc.co.uk/questions/contact/contact_praise)

You can only leave a short message with up to 350 characters in it.

Gamer shows are rare and when they are done, they are aimed at 8 year olds and are usually very bad. I'd like more shows about games for people our age so Gameswipe was an Olympic long jump in the right direction, in my opinion.

His other "Tweet":

Caring about ratings is a terrible illness BUT Gameswipe easily outdid both Screen & News Wipe in terms of 'numbers' last night.

Hopefully this leads to something. If Screenwipe gets multiple series and Gameswipe outdid Screenwipe & Newswipe, surely it would be logical to make more Gameswipe or similair.

And finally, I've nothing official but I read he tried to get Zero Punctuation (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation) on the show but couldn't for some reason. That would have made the show even better for me. Shame.

Charlie Brooker talking about videogames is just like someone designing a TV show for me.

Sarcasm + bitterness + games = :D

I'm not so sure if anyone would be intersted in this but I just got through watching it on the iPlayer. It's called Micro Men. It's about the fight for market dominance between Sinclair and Acorn in the 80's. It was pretty good in my opinion. Like Gameswipe, this is another one off show. It stars Alexander Armstrong as Clive Sinclair and Martin Freeman as Chris Curry.

I wasn't around during the time it takes place (I wasn't born until 1988) but, still, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 was the first thing I ever played games on so I liked seeing the story of Sinclair and what was going on with computers at the time.

Gameswipe must be very very popular because it is still up on iPlayer. It was only supposed to be up for a week.

I'm enjoying this little series of computer/gaming themed shows from the BBC. I'm hoping we get even more soon.
