I've been waiting for a new boxing/knockout kings game and was wondering what the hell had happened to the series. Then yesterday I saw this advertised

Gotta wait till the end of the month for it to be released over here, but from what I've read and seen, I'm getting it.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah got this game yesterday, I love it so much.

I've been waiting for a boxing game to come out for ages now, and this doesn't disappoint.

Currently in career mode I'm undefeated, 26-0-0 with 25 KO's and I'm climbing up the rankings.

Really recommend this to everyone!

The game is solid. Easily the best boxing game since Mike Tyson's 8-bit punchout.

I wish they had a more professional atmosphere, like the KO kings series did, but still a great, great game...

I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow. Only knew it was released today when I saw it in the paper. Been looking for someone to recommend it without my asking to so this did the trick.

Not liking the lack of British fighters in the game though.

Lennox Lewis is the only British fighter? :wtf:

Anyways, started on career mode straight away and off to a rocky start getting KO'd with practically the first punch and I don't know how to work the recovery thing. Put it on auto 2 fights later and started to get somewhere. 2 more KO losses but avenged all losses now and I'm now 27-7-0 with 27 KOs and a stamina of 100.

Useless at that heavy bag training though :(

After 13 years I climbed to the top of the middleweight mountain!

At the young age of 40, with all stats up to 100, with a record of 56-0-0 with 55 KO's, and the middleweight title around my waist, my trainer said I was too old and beat up and told me to retire :(

Yeah I was shite at the heavy bag training untill I got used to it.

Get the bag swinging by using a left upper cup followed by a right one, then use the hook punches to keep it going :y:

Thanks man I'll try that.

Right now I'm 31-7-0 31 KOs and only Roy Jones has a longer undefeated run than I do. Up to 15 in the world rankings.

How many arenas are blocked in the game?

Just switch to a config where the punches are buttons for heavy bag. I use config 6 that has the buttons and total punch control together.

Thats what I got, I find the analogue stick hard to use, but then again I've always had difficulty using them :-\

Anyway, I've started up a new career in the Heavyweight division, so far 7-0-0 with 7 ko's

I'm finding the training alot easier this time round, probably because I know what to do.

I'm not looking forward to fighting Ali though :nono: :(

Little career update for ya:

18-0-0 18 ko's

Cant remember where I am in the rankings :-\

I love fighting fat fighters, they are so easy to beat, especially if you have lots of speed.

I made my sparring partner bleed :o
