someone lent me the first disk of season 1 and I watched the first episode with my ex, she wasn't to into it and because of that I had trouble getting into it, never got around to the second one...

I moved on to another show but It sounds pretty good, I should get it back...

Does it take time to get into it? it looked like a good show I just never got around to watching more than that one episode...

It feels like a chapter of my life has ended now the Wire is over. I got so familiar with sitting down with a couple of beers and some snacks watching two to three episodes I had sky+'d (TIVO'd) in a row. I'm going to try fill the void by starting with 'The Shield' - just bought season 1 on DVD and hopefully go from there.

Seriously the best television show for character development, twists and mark-out moments though.

I hated how Avon's crew never really not any revenge on all the hits they took from Marlo's crew. They got a couple of smaller soilders, but never anything big
