Yeah, so how do I stop programs like MSN starting up automatically when I turn on the computer? :mad:

Click Start > Run and type in msconfig and then click on the startup tab.

For MSN, you just turn the option off in the personal settings bit. Its under the general tab.

you would think that would work wouldnt you?
Msn will still run in the backgorund,
It need to be turned off as stated above, and also if you are running Norton, the option to scan msn with norton will turn msn on just to scan, even of your not using it.
