even though i was looking forward to kingston retaining the title, miz earned that title and that whole match was just simply awesome. both of these young men have big futures ahead of them!!

i hope the creative team does something special with kofi now that he is free of the title. not saying that he wasn't good with the title, i just want to see him achieve bigger and better accomplishments

There is still money to be made in this feud. I hardly think that it is appropriate to consider the US Title a burden to be "free" of.

It is my opinion that Miz and Kofi can go a good distance together, and work a good program through Wrestlemania. That would be where I would have the blow off.

no im not saying the us title is a burden. far from it! im just saying maybe its time kofi could try out of a world title pic...maybe. or at least go a step higher.

I unashamedly marked out when The Miz won.

The WWE do have a decent mid card again, it's been a while.

I was buying into all of the false finishes, yelling at the TV, and cheering when The Miz won. Those are the matches that make me remember why I still watch wrestling. :y:

This thread is a breath of fresh air amongst all the bitching and pointless polls that have been popping up over the last 2 days.

Give some people some time with their DVRs and we'll see what happens, Juan.

I have to say since he started wearing tights etc I've really liked The Miz.

I mean, I liked him before, but he always seemed like the sidekick to John Morrison, and went he went solo he just kinda seemed liked 'that annoying reality-TV guy who's gonna get released soon'.

Once he ditched his shorts and gloves etc for a proper wrestling outfit, it's like 'shit, guy looks like a legit wrestler now'.

Cena wears shorts and people take HIM seriously. :shifty:

Seriously though, pretty happy for The Miz. I've been a fan ever since he had that match like 3 years ago against Matt Hardy on Smackdown and almost won. I'm glad they're high on him, and he seems to really be working at his craft.

I enjoyed that match a lot even though I didn't think I was going to.

I had an inkling that Miz would win (or at least not lose clean), but I was far from sure..... and found myself doing the same thing as you

At Breaking Point, I think they had hands down the best wrestling match of the night. The US Title should be fought in these 1 on 1 classics rather then a clusterfuck of Fatal-Four-Ways. How many has there been as of late? Seems like a lot.
