So, this isn't exactly about Bragging Rights, but it starts there.

If Cena wins, the match with Orton doesn't make sense. I know, 50% or Raw's booking hasn't made sense since Mania. But I'm saying, the whole point should be that Cena gets booted from Raw and Orton can BRAG about eliminating his "greatest threat". Besides, if Cena wins and Orton can't challenge...who would oppose Cena? Orton in the only main event heel on Raw.

Anyway, I thought it was Risky putting Batista on SD. And now Cena? I'm actually minutely worried about the Blue Show. It's pretty clear we're headed for a Punk/Cena "The fans are weak junkies" vs. "I will shout about nothing specific until the fans like me" feud. So... If that's the (unfortunate) case...what do we think?

Vince CAN make new stars, he's just a bit of a pussy. Yea, the scene is stale, so mix it up.
Put Cena or Orton in a smaller feud while Cena or Orton focuses on the title. Orton can feud with Ted, and Cena with Swagger. Or hell, do both. Let's just say Orton wins at Bragging Rights, Swagger takes a pop shot at a weakend Cena the next night on Raw. Blam, there's a feud right there... but unlike Cena/Miz, put Swagger over. Hell, even have Swagger say "Even The Miz beat you!"
Meanwhile, on Orton's side Ted decides to make a name for himself. Orton hits the ring with Legacy, says he has proven he's the most cunning and ruthless champion ever, and after beating Cena he makes an open challenege. Ted grabs him from behind for a quick Dreamstreak, and the runs out of ring before CAWdy can save the day. Ted grabs a mic and accepts. He then challenges Orton and CAWdy to a tag match that night. Enter Bryan Danielson or Nigel McGuinness (the other one teams up with Punk).
Wanna put the strap on Cena, fine. Orton's challenege is open to anyone that doubts him because Cena's win was a fluke, and Swagger still take his pop shot at a weakend Cena. The stale main event is cured for at least 2 hours.

The winners from all the matches at Bragging Rights will be in the Main Event. A SmackDown vs Raw Tag Team Match will take place with the winners of the previous matches involved in said Tag Team Match.

The winners of the matches before the Main Event who are from SmackDown will be in one team and the winners who are from Raw will be in the other team.

It's pretty much the same idea as Survivor Series 1990 but without the elimination style matches.

cena vs batista at every ppv
cm punk gets pushed down to midcarder or worse has to job to them
cena claims batista and himself have he best feud ever
smackdown gets a guest host everyweek

i think i would have to hang myself, or write a strongly worded/threatening letter to titan towers

That's about as likely to happen as R-Truth and Cryme Tyme being main eventers on Smackdown.

I personally think that with the finish of HIAC, that bragging rights might be used as a DiBiase face turn, maybe costing Orton the match? The Marine 2 is right round the corner so the face turn will have to come really soon.

They always bail Orton out, Orton brags about how great he is and never acknowledges their assist, and he never offers to help them in return. Cody said it was good business to stick with Orton, but you can only work with an assbag for so long.

Or have Orton actually hurt Cody, directly or otherwise, and take Cody off tv for a month to play the injury. Ted gets pissed and battles Randy for hurting his friend, so you've got "strong, independent face" to sell the movie's release, and then Cody comes back for his triumphant face return.

Cody could always blame DiBiase for the loss at HIAC by getting locked out the cage? Orton constantly going on about how he fucked up that match? Dibiase ruins Ortons match at BR but gets punted in the head and gets kept on camera whilst filming the Marine, or else sells the punt to the head so he can go film the marine?

I get the feeling that when it comes out, they will team up John Cena and DiBiase in a tag match against Orton and Rhodes and bill it as the "two marines".

I know its a push, but I think they might even have Dibiase win the Rumble seeing as its October already.
