I installed the game went online, became part of the social club incldued my windows live id and yet everytime i open the game I get the resc10 error, which with some research turns out to be a video memory error. this happens before the logo or as the logo pops up. I get the warnings, two rockstar logos, maybe the gta4 logo and then boom error. what the fuck?

Back in the day I installed Vice City on my parents PC and for some reason it didn't install correctly and I could only ever move to the left, making advancing in the game fairly impossible. I think I got to the mission where you have to chase down a biker through the alleyway on a bike yourself, which is very difficult when you can only turn left and have to brake and reverse to alter your course to the right....
