View Full Version : Do you think there is "any room" for more crusierweights in WWE?

Simple question (and of course another poll ) would you like to see more crusierweights added to the current WWE roster, or do you think it's fine how it is now (smaller, more agile heavyweights and a couple of superheavys on each show)?

Without a crusierweight title, they are useless.

Still trying to figure out what a 'crusierweight' is?

Is that like an easier weight division, less work, less travel sort of deal?

Don't know how wwe screwed this division up so many times. All you need to do is put two of them in the ring every ppv and give them 20 minutes. You don't even need a storyline.

Wish WWE put an emphasis on cruiserweight wrestling like WCW did back in the mid 1990's.

Cruiserweight/Lightweight wrestlers are defined as usually any competitor who weigh at or below the 225 lb mark....Granted that the actual weight of most of the wrestlers is exxaggerated in their billed at weight and most are probably lighter or heavier than the weight to convince fans to believe they could be that weight and get them over as face or heel.

Because of that, there are alot of wrestlers that compete in the Heavyweight Title Division....that would mean guys like CM Punk, HBK, and Chrisitian for example....could not be or should not be WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion.....granted the ECW Title has always been about the promotion...not the size or attributes of a particular wrestler. These wrestlers and many more have been Heavyweight Champions.... so they should be Cruiserweight Champion...not heavyweight champion.

WWE being the really only BIG promotion (sorry I will not count TNA or ROH), there is not enough depth in the roster nor the ability to book the roster for a cruiserweight division. WWE has enough titles as it is...although a Women's title could be dissolved and the US and IC titles could be unified.....but I think WWE made the right move in retiring the championship and eliminating the division.

Cruiserweights are great in Mexico and Japan....and if you want to wrestle as a cruiserweight/light heavyweight exclusively....go there or go to an indy promotion in the states....but WWE isn't gonna have it anytime soon and I say its for the better.

Nah, it's the division that puts over the bigger stars.

There's no need for any more cruiserweights without the WWE Cruiserweight Championship ("OF THE WORLD!", as they were so fond of saying)...

Don't see any reason for them not to have a cruiserweight division, although I do think the 225 number is much to high for reasons already stated.

dean malenko being the cruiser weight booker/champion for a million years really killed the wwf/e cruiser weight division
