I was going back and watching the previous seasons of Supernatural and in an episode in the third season they filmed it like Ghost Hunters on the Syfy (Sci Fi) channel or whatever and it made me think of that one X-Files episode where they filmed it like they were on an episode of Cops. So anyways name an episode that you thought was unique and stood out or that you really liked even if you barely watched that TV show.

X-Files/Cops episode is one plus the Angel episode where he gets turned in a muppet. Can't think of anything else right now.

I remember watching the Angel muppet episode before I ever even got into Angel. Just because of the commercials.

Other unique episodes:

Buffy and Xena musical episodes. Buffy had a silent (mostly) episode as well.

That episode of Star Trek DS9 where they go back in time to the Trouble with Tribbles episode from the original Star Trek.

There was an episode of Boy Meets World where Cory is dreaming that they're all stuck in the school, and they are slowly getting picked off by a killer in a scream mask.

Can't think of anything else right now either.

lol That BMW episode. Whats with almost every show having an episode where the day starts over and over and over again and only one person is aware?

Or an episode where you go through the day over and over again, but from a different character's perspective each time, with the full scope of the story revealed at the end.

Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose

Jose Chung's From Outer Space

Post-Modern Prometheus

X-Cops

Triangle

Bad Blood

Scrubs does a lot of these. I think they call them "concept episodes." They are very cool.

The Seinfeld episode the was in reverse. Kramer's sucker gradually gets bigger during the episode.

That episode's brilliant. I love how it ends with Jerry and Kramer's first meeting, and Jerry tells him he can make himself at home

The Simpsons - 22 Short Films About Springfield

Telling short individual stories about a bunch of the smaller characters, all vaguely tied together Pulp Fiction-style (including an obvious PF reference with Chief Wiggum and Snake in the Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames roles).

There was an episode of farscape that was all animation, like a Looney-tunes cartoon. Was bonkers.

The Angel episode when he turns intoa muppet was priceless. A muppet Angel beating the crap out of Spike.

"You're a wee, little puppet man!"

The Fresh Prince episode where Carlton and Will pledge to the black fraternity, but Carlton doesn't get in because he isn't "black".

There was another Buffy one that focused on Xander's misadventures while Buffy and Angel and the rest of the gang melodramatically fought the apocalypse. That one, in addition to being unique, is also one of my favourites.
