Is there anything that would actually cause you to stop watching Raw for good? I'm not talking about a few weeks or months, I mean, stop watching forever.
I'm giving up on RAW until the big Dave Arquette comeback.

Um.... dunno if only one single thing would make me stop watching..... Its kinda routine for me to watch it now.... I've sat through a lot of crap during the years, so I guess it would have to take a helluva lot..... maybe like Cena holding every Title ever created for like 4 weeks.... that would be my limit....

I was talking to my older brother about this one season when the Raiders were totally sucking. He's a Raiders fan, no matter how dreadful they are.
Let's take the 200k out of this. I SAT THROUGH THE FUCKING KATIE VICK STORY LINE AND I'M STILL WATCHING!!!!!
When you're a fan you watch all the crap because that glimmer of light gleams in Pandora's box. Yea, I'm hooked for life.

We're like abused wives. The "E" beats us relentlessly but we stick around hoping against hope that things will change. We ain't never switching off!

Pretty much.
When I've watched something for 13 years and have loved it to the extent I have, no way I'm stopping now. I think, in those 13 years, I've missed maybe three RAWs.

I'm really into Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment right now. It's the book I started reading during the commercials, but it tends to be better than what's happening on Raw so a lot of the time I just keep reading through the program.

Only tend to miss RAW when "24" is giving or when a sports game involving one of my teams is playing.
End up missing more of ECW since I keep forgetting about it on Tuesdays and ever since they changed Smackdown's time here, been missing that more than I want to.

I haven't really been watching. I like Raw when there is guest former superstars. I admit I also liked Bob Barker. Besides for that, it has been horrible.
If it weren't for DVR, I don't know that I'd watch much Raw

i haven't watched raw in about a month and a half so yeah. if something more interesting is going on, i won't watch it. i still watch smackdown, though, just not on friday nights. i went a full 3 years without watching anything so it's not that hard.

If it weren't for my horse I wouldn't have spent that year in college.

I do other things now while Raw is on so I don't have to pay much attention unless something good happens. That's probably the closest I'll come to not watching at all. And by the way the way Raw has been since the PG turn, I would KILL to see HHH fuck another mannequin.

Nothing really. Even if it blows, it's still wrestling and something I'd rather watch than 99% of the things on Monday aside from MNF when my Pats play or if the LEafs are on.

There are things that would get me to stop watching for a couple of months but, unless it was something that actually pissed me off, the kind of thing that would get WWE kicked off television for instance, I would probably come back eventually.

The closest I would come to stopping would happen if Cena goes over Taker at Mania.

I'd say a oily fat man dancing while wearing a banana hammock but they already had Big Dick Johnson on tv as recent as the Las Vegas (i think) RAW show.

agreed.
and even then, i'm not sure.
having been watching for 23 + years now, i'm not sure if i could stop watching
I am seriously thinking that if the WWE doesn't go anywhere with this Bret Hart comeback, that will be it for me. The only reason I am still watching right now is because of his return. I mean after that little people's court skit a couple weeks back, I almost called it quits right then.

ROH getting a better TV deal on a better channel because ROH is Wrestling
WWE is Worlds Worst Entertainment.

I think we all know that it probably won't happen or at least I hope it doesn't. If it did, I'de get close to stopping. :nono:
WWE is Worlds Worst Entertainment.
Did you really write that? How old are you?

Not sure why it's bothering me so much GoneFishing but it's 'I'd' not 'I'de'. I have a friend with the surname 'Ide' and so your posts are confusing me a little ;)
As for never watching, I barely watch any more. The reasons for that are
a) Raw Guest Host
b) Dead, pathetic crowds/no passion
c) Shit Storylines
d) Shit Matches
