i know it's already been mentioned before, but he has a definite future in the wwe business.

give or take 2 years and he can be a top heel!

ROFL, I think he had what it takes to be a champion, but he needs a little more time to develop..... very similar to Jack Swagger.... only Swagger is ahead of him by a year..... I can definately see Sheamus as a heel and Swagger as a "Kurt Angle type" face feuding for a World Title in 2 years time

Jack Swagger definitely has the Kurt Angle aesthetic going for him. Hopefully this "undefeated through the rest of the year" storyline can get him some more heat. Towards the end of the year he could come out and start a feud with Randy Orton because he ran out of "faces" to beat, which would make a great face turn for him.

I like Sheamus. He has natural ability, but the current writing/creative team has no idea how to develop characters. Everyone seems bland as gas station coffee right now.

They need to introduce him to either tanning beds or fake spray on tans.

so he can look like randy orton? sometimes being different is ok

What Would Kevin Do?
10-10-2009, 10:53 PM
Totally off topic, but I'd love to see Swagger go undefeated for a long ass time, and win MitB at Mania, only for him to cash it in and have his undefeated streak broken when he cashes it in... I think it'd just be an interesting angle to have him go from being insanely egotistical on a winning streak, to losing all his confidence by losing the one that matters....

To look like Orton he'd have to shave his head and get a bunch of tattoos.

I like Sheamus from his IWW days and think he could have a good future, but whether they would want to have a pasty ginger bloke representing them is another story.

Sheamus hasn't made me a massive fan, or anything, but he is obvious a decent and capable worker. He's really fucking solid, and he's got an interesting look. The dude can also be pretty entertaining on the mic. I see him being drafted to SmackDown! next year, and being one of those guys that we cum about having so much potential.

I've not seen any Sheamus yet, but judging by peoples opinions of him, I'm gonna predict that he'll be teamed up with Shelton Benjamin some time before the end of 2010.

I smell a Survivor Series Match.

I don't DISLIKE Sheamus. I don't really mark for him, though. Before he debuted on ECW, he had a dark match with Jimmy Wang Yang on the May 19th () ECW, and he cut a really good promo. That was the first time I had ever seen him.

Also, his music is pretty great. I'll give him that.

This would be fan-fucking-tastic and worth the price of an entire PPV. Just imagine all of the racial slurs, binge drinking, and gang violence involved... oh wait, they would never do it now. Fuck, it would be excellent though.

I saw some of Sheamus' first matches at FCW. I was surprised when I heard he was headed for TV. I thought it was kinda cool. But yeah..I don't know where he is headed. I think he will probably end up in the mid-card.

as far as I know, Sheamus is from Dublin. Dublin is not part of Northern Ireland..therefore, not part of the United Kingdom. Unless I am wrong.

I’d like to see Sheamus use the powerbomb instead of a kick. No one uses the powerbomb anymore. Not the Doctor Bomb, but a powerbomb like Diesel. He should just randomly come out and start powerbombing people. I wouldn’t be surprised if he won the United States title within a year.

Jamie Noble is the fucking man. Don't you dare say any bad words about him.

Anywho, Sheamus looked good in the beatdown. I think he'll be fine on Raw as long as they don't try to push him instead of The Miz or Jack Swagger. Sheamus and MVP would be a good starting point for him. Win or lose, he'll gain something.

Mr. Nerfect

I love me some Jamie Noble. I think the time SmackDown! really started looking like the better show was when he did that awesome double-turn with Chuck Palumbo over Michelle McCool. I'm not sure if it was intended to go down that way, but it became evident that Noble's charm and character were just too endearing to be the heel against boring old Palumbo, so they did the switch and it was incredible.

Then it went nowhere.

I'd love to see Noble given a proper storyline.

:wtf: Not happy with this post. Here's why.

Jack Swagger is amazing. His entrance, his attire, his moveset & his cocky arrogance make him such. He is going to be the next Kurt Angle.

While I like Sheamus, he has a long way to go. His moveset has been comprised of *punch/kick/throw - punch/kick/throw* Such a basic & bland moveset proves that he is either holding back or really doesn't know more technical moves. He has a lot to learn while Swagger is already at a point where he can work many styles of matches and make them believable.

Basically, what I"m saying is...

Swagger>Sheamus

To me it was a horrible (and somewhat offensive) comparison

Mr. Nerfect

Sheamus has got a lot of potential, though. The dude has a unique look, and despite being so pale, he's thick as shit. He works the style he works well. I'd like to see him put in a proper storyline, though.

IrishBulldozer

I love his look. It's his moveset that worries me. He really has done nothing but punch & kick since arriving. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with that on ECW but now that he was magically whisked away to RAW I think he needs to step it up a notch once these brutal squashes turn in to real matches. Time will tell. I just think a Swagger comparison is the wrong way to go...Umaga perhaps. He started out as a beast in squash matches before really working (Cena matches were a real eye opener)...so like I said...Time will tell but it was a silly comparison.
