Nope. Reggie Hodges the punter is, looks more like a good suntan though.

Didn't Ty Warren or some defensive lineman kick some extra points every once in a while?

by few years you meant pre-season this year? or had he done it before?

or is this just another case of me not seeing "sarcasm" when someone types.

What would the reason be for the lack of black kickers?

That's a good question. I'm sure the majority of the kickers and punters in the NFL were also the star quarterback/wide receiver/defensive back/whatever certainly at the high school level, so it is not like they are unathletic in their own right. There is still a racial bias when it comes to certain positions in football. If you are black, then you are encouraged to play the positions that require speed and strength. Kicking sports such as soccer aren't really popular among black people here in America. Still though, that doesn't really answer the question about why there haven't been more black kickers, especially considering that quite a few have been foreigners, so I don't know why there haven't been more at those positions.

I think the better question would be why haven't been that many Brazilian kickers in the NFL

I have wondered if any soccer goal keepers or rugby players have tried to play football just because they can kick. Obviously they are different games with different balls but one would think they'd be able to at least take care of kick offs.

Yeah, I wonder this about 'lower players' (a top football/soccer player isn't going to and play a different game and earn kicker money) I mean, somebody like Paul Robinson can kick a ball 70+ yards off the ground so he could make some pretty huge field goals.

There has been a rise in Australian rugby kickers as punters and kickers in football recently compared to past decades.

The difficulty is accuracy since a soccer goal keeper or a rugby kicker either kicks to a large space or runs while kicking. Its probably similar to a free kick in soccer where accuracy is needed the most.

Rugby kickers kick for the uprites on free kicks and converts. I think a world cup final a few times ago was won by a 60 yard kick (I may be way wrong).
