They have titles now that arent even being defended. What is one more gonna change. Look at the IC title. Orton barely defends that. European will just throw off the whole even belt thing they have going.

the European title? what is that?

I think at some point they'll bring back the Euro title, probably on RAW. You look at Smackdown, and there they have two seocndary titles for the mid card guys to fight over (CW and US), on RAW they only have onw (IC). So it kinda makes sense to have a title for the lower end mid carders to fight over. Plus, if they are going to start running more PPVs, they probably think they need more title matches to fill out the cards.

Personally I would concentrate on getting over the titles they have, but I've been saying that for a long time.

I wouldn't mind seeing the belt come back. It would give people like Matt Hardy a purpose.

I'd rather see a TV belt. One defended on like every Raw. Maybe even on heat.

If the Euro belt was to return I'd say it would be on Raw, it would serve a purpose there, and I think it would be cool, even though I don't really care if it returns.
To keep the balance of belts the return of the hardcore title to smackdown would be cool, and would def serve a purpose there as well.

I would like to see it return. It could give guys like Steven Richards, The Hurricane (at the moment) and Lance Storm (currently) something to do. I'm voting "Yes" as I enjoyed what this title did, and it was always one of my favourites (since Matt Hardy held it for ages).

If they do bring it back then they need to give it to low carders like Hurricane or Rico.

Rather the European than the WCW TV or the hardcore title.

Bring back the TV and Euro titles and place them on Heat and Velocity respectively. :y:

EXACTLY!

And then those storylines will come to a head at the PPVs Heat. Its good shit. I say the "TV Title" should be on RAW and European on SD!

The WWE doesn't need anymore titles. Even if RAW only has one mid-card title, it doesn't matter because the Women's division makes up for it, and the US Title is rarely defended on Smackdown anyways.

If they do bring in a new title, it should be a RAW Cruiserweight Title, and hire a bunch of nameless cruiserweights from the Indies and NWA-TNA, then have a couple of big name WWE Cruiserweights as the stars of the RAW cruiserweight division. If anyone understands the importance of Cruiserweights, it's Bischoff.

Go figure, if they brought the tv title back that would be great exposure for the 'low-midcarders'. Heck it would be cool if the TV champion had to wrestle on both shows and if they lost they have to return to there proper show.

The European title should return, and yes, to RAW, but ONLY, and I do mean ONLY if they bring the Light Heavyweight belt back with it to RAW, and then RAW could have a Light HW division for all their superstars under 220, just like SD! has it's Cruiserweight-exclusive action...it would be off the HOOK!

I don't wanna see any more belts but if they bring one back, well the European title was ok but the TV and Hardcore titles got pissed on so bad that the damage is irrepairable.

But how does the Womens title "make up" for the lack of a secondary mid card title on RAW? Can Hurricane or Matt Hardy fight for the Women's title? And would that really benefit them if they did?

Like I said, I dont think they "need" a new title, but I can see a use for the Euro title on RAW, or TV title if they choose to call it that.

As for the CW title on RAW, I dont think there are enough cruisers to make two divisions, RAW doesn't need a CW title just like SD doesn't need a Women's title.

I think the TV title so it gets defended every show. The Euro will be defended once a month.

Cruiserweight title doesnt really count towards the titles because its just like the womens title. only certain people can win it. So Smackdown really only has one.

Yeah but the CW title is for the men, and they have just over loaded SD with cruisers. Whereas RAW has a lot of guys like Storm, Venis, Matt Hardy who are a little larger and wouldn't qualify as cruiserweights. If you look at the SD rosetr most of the guys on the show have a focus on a certain title. The CW's have a title, the rest of the mid carders have Cena to chase, and the top guys have Eddie.

On RAW there are a ton of guys who would never be programed with Orton because they aren't high enough on the card, and they definately aren't World title material. So with no third level title, they are stuck opn Heat fighting for nothing. Thats why I could see a use for a new title on RAW, espeically with them increasing the # of PPVs. Now I have no faith they could make a new title worth anything, but the need is there for another title.

I didn't mean that it made up for it as far as mid-card males go, I meant that it takes up the same amount of TV time as the Cruiserweight title does on Smackdown, i.e. "making up for it." I do see your point though. I thought that Randy Orton should have dropped the IC title before WrestleMania though. It really isn't neccesary for him to have the belt in a feud with Foley, since Mick doesn't need it, and Orton is already running strong off his "Legend Killer" gimmick. If the RAW team would smarten up and give the belt to some of the other mid-carders, it wouldn't be so bad.

As for the CW title on RAW, I dont think there are enough cruisers to make two divisions, RAW doesn't need a CW title just like SD doesn't need a Women's title.

There is a slight difference though. The indie talent pool of cruiserweight wrestlers is much, much bigger than that of indie female wrestlers. I'm positive that there is a large handful of wrestlers who would jump at the opportunity to join the WWE as part of RAW's Cruiserweight Division. They could even hold a tournament for it. Oh my god, that would rock.... alright, sorry. I'm getting too hopeful. Anyways, my point is made.

The European title would be good for guys like Matt Hardy, and the Hurricane, but I wouldn't be suprised if Batista won it for Evolution, and that wouldn't be helping those who kinda need it.
