Bret for me. I think until that final day for Vince, he was the model professional in all departments regarding the business. He was the perfect blend of old school and new school.

HBK is great, but I personally think he is terrible at the emotive stuff he's done, his whole persona is supposed to resemble a parallel to his real life, but he just overacts every facial expression. I think he is one of the worst 'sellers' to have achieved his kind of success.... He has had, and still does have amazing matches, but he isn't as often the ring genius he is made out to be.

From what I've seen/read of both, I like Bret as a person more than I do Shawn. In ring, I'd give the edge to HBK, though he isn't a better technician then Bret, and he has a bad habbit of over-selling.

On the mic, he's also better. He's far from the best, but is still better than Bret. The poll deserves to be closer than it is, but HBK wins it for me.

Yeah, I actually think that. I never said anything about acknowledging what anybody else thinks. I'm sure many people think that he's right up there with the likes of Shawn, I do not though. I think he's been immortalized by his fans far past what his actual ability was. Do I think he was a great professional wrestler? Yes, I really do. But he's no Shawn Michaels to me.
