I didn't wanna put this in the Predictions thread or whatever, since it doesn't really have anything to do with predictionss.......

Anyways, Game 1 is tonight. First period just ended. Nashville's playing really well right now. Is there any doubt that them getting Sullivan was the best move they made this year? Him and Walker were playing awesomely in the first period. The first goal was a bit flukey, but it was a goal and that's what counts.

If they keep playing the way they are, I can see them upsetting the Wings in this game. Detroit had a couple nice chances as well, especially on the powerplay. Vokoun definitely looks like the better of the two goalies at this point.

To be honest, the game doesn't look one-sided in either direction right now. It looks like a nice balanced game, which rules. Should be a hot series.

Yea, the commentator guys keep talkin about how the Preds are playin better and stuff. It really doesn't seem that way to me. Detroit is getting just as many, if not more, chances. The only thing that is really leaning in either direction is the score, and like you said, that was a bit of a fluke-ish goal.

Looks like Detroit decided to start playing the game in the 3rd period :D

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! @ that Lang goal

That was a ****ing brilliant goal there. OMG amazing

But wow yeah, close game there. Nashville had the edge (albeit slight) for the first two periods, then Detroit just came out swinging in the third. Draper with a nice goal, Holmstrom doing what he does best, then Lang just doing that insane goal.

I still think Sullivan had an amazing game though, him and Walker were their best players. Vokoun played great as well, but I'm getting sick of all these Giguere references

Yea, if I have to hear them say "gettin jiggy with it" one more time, I'm liable kill something.

Lang's goal was freakin awesome. Not much else can be said to describe it, just wow.

Were's Bad Guy, I wanna hear his bitching that it was all the goalie's fault they lost, when the get knocked out of the playoffs. Like last year.

Game 2 was todayyyyyy

Didn't watch it 'cause I was out, but I heard most of the game on the radio in the car.

Lang

Red Wings up 2. Even though I'm rooting for the Wings, it would be nice to see Nashville win their first home playoff game. Give the fans something nice to see and all.

Hottttttttttt haven't been herre in a bit but Wings are doing good.

Vokoun was the man in games 3/4. Datsyuk + Zetterberg = sex though

That pass Datsyuk floated to Hull was a mark out moment no doubt.

Zetterberg's goalie was terrific. Perfect pass by Datsyuk, then Zetterberg totally undressed Vokoun

Detroit sent a message tonight and it was clear. You can't win at the Joe.

I remember somebody saying Nashville wouldnt win another game in the series and then they tied it up at 2.

So that was pretty cool

My team is the Avs. :)

Yeah nobody was giving Nashville any credit to start off with. They played really well the first 4 games.

Game 5 though, Detroit just totally dominated them. And I'm not saying that as a Red Wings fan. They just totally shut them down.

I just couldnt stand how Detroit had all the Ovs back in the day.

Zubov, Federov, Konstantinov, Bitchov, Cuntov, and etc.
