DISCUSSION - Does anyone see a DX heel turn coming up pretty soon?
Few things:
The "cease and desist" letter towards Hornswoggle seemed a bit heelish/assholish on DX's part.
DX are slated to be in a triple threat match with John Cena for the World title at the next PPV.
The Rock and Bret Hart, both of which are at odds with DX, have been rumored to host a future RAW.
What say you?

If Hit the Bretman Hart hosts RAW I will potentially bawl nostalgiac cheers and have snotbubbles et all.
Not both of them.
It's either HHH or HBK, with HBK being a better choice.
So, it's probably HHH turning heel soon.

I don't think the fans would boo HBK tbh. He could be a heel and they'd still go for him esp against HHH or Cena.

I see HBK turning on HHH after HHH costs him the Title at Survivor Series. Something like he pulls Shawn out of the ring after a Sweet Chin Music on Cena, tries to get the fall himself, Shawn breaks the cover just in time, they argue face to face in the ring, From behind cena rams HHH into HBK from behind, hits the Attitude Adjustment on HBK and retains. HHH apologizes on Raw, with the storyline continuing with HHH doing subtle things in tag matches or single matches to hurt HBK's chances of winning. Shawn eventually has enough, goes apeshit, beats up Hunter, Hunter takes a month off, HBK beats Cena for the Title in the meantime, loses it to an up-and-comer like Miz/Swagger/Kofi/Sheamus when HHH returns and costs him the title. HBK/HHH then continue feud

It's never gonna happen, I know :(

Xero and I were talking about this last night at the vault. The most likely scenario would be Michaels turning heel because there are plans for him to win the title at TLC because it is in San Antonio. You could even have him play the role of tweener. One of them loses to Cena at Survivor Series. The next night, they go one on one to decide who will face Cena at TLC. HBK finds a way to cheat and beat HHH and goes into TLC as a heel. Even though he will be cheered in his hometown, he can win it there and still be a heel after the PPV.

Triple H could turn heel at Survivor Series by hitting Shawn Michaels with the Pedigree and then pinning him for the win. That would then set up a Triple H vs Shawn Michaels title match at TLC which is in San Antonio. *Shock*
Though I'm sure Cena will be involved too seeing as TLC will be most likely where he'll have his rematch if he was to lose at Survivor Series. So we could very well see a Triple Threat TLC Match at TLC.
Just guessing though.

Also, if that were to happen, we could see a Triple H/Shawn Michaels rivalry span out to reach, and then end at WrestleMania.

I think the whole deal with it being DX vs cena in a triple threat was that it seemed at the time to be blatantly obvious that the match would be HHH vs Cena (match last week, HHH in the Main with a win over Show to "prove" himself to the NASCAR guys) and they went for a mini swerve.

Why the fuck would they have a heel Michaels win in his hometown? Come on now.

If you're going to fantasy book at least use your heads. Even a tweener Michaels doesn't make sense. Fans want to cheer this guy, he's a legend. Fans will boo HHH over him.

I don't know if I see a heel turn for the both of them, but one will.
For those who think people will not boo HBK, go watch his old promos, the guy is an awesome heel.
both of them turning heel, although unlikely, would actually be pretty cool. Would make me actually care about HHH.
HHH turning heel wouldn't be all that great imo. It's been done.

If Triple H or HBK turns right now, it would be SO predictable ... I mean how many times can Triple H go back and forth? They need to space that stuff out.

Its clearly setting up a Cena heel turn after he loses again.
Also, if that were to happen, we could see a Triple H/Shawn Michaels rivalry span out to reach, and then end at WrestleMania.
I was talking about this today. I do think this is what it's leading to, Mania with Shawn and Hunter.

It's pretty obvious than it wil pan out that it will be Triple H vs HBK at WM26 that's why they brought back DX to build up to it. It would be better if Triple H went heel but with the possibility of this being both their last match it could be a face/face situation which isn't all that unusual. Having a triple threat with all faces though is odd though which makes me think otherwise so perhaps Triple H would have a very short heel turn cuz there's no way Michaels will.
Never would happen at this point in both of their careers

Regardless, they're selling too much merchandise right now. Same reason Cena has been face for as long as he has.

Yeah but it's different now, he's a legend. People don't want to boo him.

Even though HBK will garner "respect pops" no matter where he goes, I think the fans will boo him at appropriate times.
2005 against Hogan is a good example of this.
Although Triple H being a heel has been played out, I think a heel DX in its entirety would be somewhat refreshing.
In all likelihood however, I don't think DX will make the turn. I think it will ultimately come down to a Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, face vs. face, penis on penis, showdown at Wrestlemania.

HBK also got the crowd to boo him on RAW in Canada just by playing Bret Hart's music. He could do something similar to Jericho's promos when he bad mouth's the crowd regardless if its in his hometown, Canada, or in the U.S.

oh so pure cheap heat?
Emperor Smeat
10-27-2009, 10:59 PM
Depends how long they would be willing to keep him as a heel. A slow build with promos similar to Jericho could make him into a crowd hater but if its only a short term heel push like against Hogan, then yeah it would be cheap heat.

I would love to see a heel D-Generation X "keeping talent down." That would make me more interested in them than I've ever been. That's not going to happen, though. While, creatively, an HBK heel turn sounds good on paper -- Gorgeous Dale is correct. The fans want to cheer this guy, and with TLC being in San Antonio, the story should be people wanting to see him as WWE Champion.
I have no doubt that we are heading towards Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 26. It is a big match, and they could make it face vs. face or do a Triple H heel turn (The Game hasn't been a heel for like over three years now).

Seems way too much effort for such a petty angle; but if Chavo started screwing around with Hornswoggle, and essentially made the little dude his bitch from here out -- I would be very, very happy.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Hogan, himself, win the TNA World Tag Team Championship -- as long as he won it with someone like Matt Morgan. Hogan's got the red and yellow; Morgan is The Blueprint. The Primary Colors are running wild on you, brother!

DX turning heel and calling themselves "The Kliq" would actually make me mark out. It won't happen -- at least not at this point in time -- but it'd be very cool to see, in my opinion.

This will always be one of my favorite heel turns of all time...on a very special episode of "When Mullets Attack!"

This is my guess as well.....and I'm almost convinced that it will be face vs. face (similar to HBK/Flair).
Two matches that I'm almost certain that will take place include:
-Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
-Jerishow vs. Edge/Christian
I also believe that we'll John Cena go up either against the Undertaker, Batista, or even The Rock (The Rock is set to host RAW on January 4th and I'd be VERY surprised if we didn't see a Rock/Cena mini-confrontation of sorts).
As far as Taker goes, I'd actually be interested to see him take on Team Legacy (Rhodes and Dibiase) at the same time. Remember - the marks need to be convinced that there's a CHANCE that Taker can see his streak come to an end.

If you're referring to Undertaker's WrestleMania streak (currently 17-0), I respectfully disagree with you. I think 'Taker will retire shortly after WM XXVIII, where he will have amassed a 20-0 record. Besides, a 2-on-1 Handicap match is nothing for 'Taker, even at WrestleMania...let me help remind you of that...
