Look at picture 26 of 34 from the 1991 Survior Series..... is it just me, or is the belt Flair is holding not the "Real World's Heavyweight Championship" Big Gold belt? And why the hell would they photoshop it?

Hes not. He held the world tag team title and they blurred it out on television. He couldnt use the big gold belt anymore so they used a tag belt.

I remember watching this SS and wondering why it looked like a tag team belt behind the blur. It wasnt until I read his book that I found out why.

For further illumination... when Flair brought the big gold belt to WWE, it was by all rights his, as the deposit then required by WCW to hold a belt had not been returned to him. WCW, if I recall correctly, managed to keep the belt off of TV as its image was an intellectual property of their company, or somesuch. So they used the different belt and blurred it as part of the storyline that the WWF had forbidden Flair to possess it on their programming, and video distorted it when he did.

don't they have the rights to use the Big Gold Belt now, as they have the World Heavyweight Championship which is a 99% replica of the old belt?

They have the rights to use it because they own all intellectual property and trademarks of WCW.

Doesn't really affect that picture though, as flair was actually holding a tag title belt in his hands.

They have photoshopped pics on the past, one i remember was making michaels appear to have more hair, though they stupidly left the thumbnail unaltered and when you flicked between the 2 he suddenly appeared to have an almost ful head of hair.

And sometimes, they remove Taker's Sara Tat, even in "live" pictures.

Also, they sometimes photoshop in testicles for Triple H.
