WWE thinks someone does.

From PWInsider:

Mark sent word that WWE will be released a "Raw: 2009 Season" 3 DVD set on 1/26/09, so for those of you who want to re-live the Guest Host era, you'll have your chance.

I am told this may end up released on Blu-Ray as WWE is looking at releasing more titles in that format next year.

Never understood why WWE wouldn't release each year's PPVs together in box set form along with a Best of Raw, Best of SmackDown, and Best of ECW from that year.

Any word on them releasing similar titles for previous years? I wouldn't mind having 1999 or so.

Really doubt it, thrilla.

They only release what the marks would buy..... not what the diehard fans would buy... I'd would kill for an un-edited complete boxset of Raw, especially 1998-2001

14 matches, 208 John Cena interview, and some Hornswoggle. Winner.

I would not care if it was 300 dollars, I would be the first in line to get it.

That must be the shortest DVD ever.

I'm surprised they even managed to get a "Best Of 2009" DVD out of Raw this year.

Though saying that, it'll probably just be 1 minute and 36 seconds long and it would be this.

Why do we have to be bitches because you have bootleg copies of somebody's idea of a best of? Either tell us where to get those, or fuck off.

I imagine he's referring to the Best of Raw volumes 1, 2 and 3. Half decent videos but hardly as thorough as you would like.

Agreed. I have those on VHS and they are only an hour long

The DVD releases of those are pretty good because they include a few extras (maybe an hours' worth on each). I have the first two, came in a set.

Still not enough, but they're decent.

If WWE really wanted to make money, they should sell entire episodes of RAW on DVD. You could access the RAW episode library online which has descriptions, etc. and you could pick which one you like and then they put it on DVD and send it to you. Make like 4 or 5 disc set with your favorite 10 episodes or something.

I also think they should re-release old WCW pay per views on DVD too. I'd buy those.
