Three traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Matches matches have been announced for WWE’s upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. The updated card is as follows:

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match
Team Kofi (Kofi Kingston, MVP, R-Truth, Mark Henry, and Christian) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and William Regal).

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match
Team Morrison (John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, and Finlay) vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger).

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match
Team Mickie (Mickie James, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Melina, and Gail Kim) vs. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla, and Alicia Fox).

My big question is wtf at R-Truth randomly being put on team Kofi? I guess we know who is getting eliminated first in that match. Also, do you think we may see a Swagger face turn?

I'm actually surprised Shelton isn't on Team Kofi.

Though the teams look decent.

Also, love the idea of Team Morrison vs Team Miz.

Team Miz vs Morrison will be great.

:y:

Shelton on Team Kofi would have made the possibility of a new NOD even more believable. As it stands now it just looks funny. 4 black guys and Christian. Either way, that match is going to kick ass.

I don't care which team Christian is on as long as it's on a PPV

So Evan Bourne will finally make his 2nd WWE PPV appearance .

Lol at Team Kofi. They should have totally got Shelton Benjamin on their team.

And Big Show and Jericho are facing Undertaker in a triple threat for the WHC title.

Wow. This is shaping up to be pretty damn good. Is anyone else actually kind-of looking forward to this?

The only thing I don't like is the fact that CM Punk was in the hunt for the World Title and now he's in a program with R-Truth. The guy just bugs the hell out of me because he jingles when he wrestles...

Yeah... pretty "Rowfull" that CM Punk's foil in the match is R-Truth.

It should have been Scott Armstrong. :shifty:

They need fun names like they used to instead of crap like "Team Miz"

8 man Survivor Series matches > 10 man Survivor Series matches.

Seriously, a little pruning could get us Punk/McIntyre/Escobar/Knox vs. Christian/Bourne/Tatsu/Dreamer, plus the other two matches.

Yeah this build up has been pretty stellar. Maybe they ignitiated the go sequence on good storylines.

If it wasn't for Christian it would be black people vs white people

LOL yeah noticed that when Ermaximus was debating why R-Truth was on the team. I've heard of a token black guy but its rare to have a token white guy.

Not bad team selections compared to what they tried to do with the original Team Smackdown on Bragging Rights. All of them look balanced enough to not make it obvious who would win and make the matches at least be somewhat decent for starters.

It'd be so much better if it was blacks vs whites.

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Chess Match, then?

It'd be so much better if it was blacks vs whites.

But that wouldn't be fair. Because the whites would have the Jews too. Plus we'd be leaving out the Asians and the Hispanics. Now maybe if they made it a 4 way with 4 teams of 5? Team Asia gets Yoshi Tatsu, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu Naki, and um....... Teamo Supremeo (Hispanic team) gets Primo, Chavo, Carlito, Eric Escobar, and ? Yeah, nevermind. It wouldn't work unless they brought in like 3 guys for 1 night only. I'd mark if Tajiri and Muta showed up on team Asia and then you could get maybe Super Crazy for the night?

yea i was thinking christian is the token white guy, they should have put shelton on that team.

That's for the next gimmick PPV...

Then you gotta have an Asian and a Hispanic stable there. If you don't it'll lead to a revolt. Granted the whites outnumber the rest of the roster 3:1.

R-Truth will be the sole survivor!

Robert Downey Jr is the only man that would make a good referee in a white vs black match, now that Michael Jackson is dead

Only if it comes down to CM Punk vs. R-Truth and Scott Armstrong is the ref.

If they were really smart they would have 3 Traditional Survivor Series matches. Each brand would have there own match.

They could make it more realistic. I say make the race war matches, "Gun on a pole" matches.

You forget when Roddy Piper did the half and half face paint for one of the early Wrestlemanias IIRC.

And Savannah.

I do like the matches that are being put forward for Survivor Series, although I still feel the Triple Threats are a bit awkward. What happens if Big Show wins the World Heavyweight Title? Granted, it's not likely to happen, but it'd be nice if we got some kayfabe tension as to whether or not the belt goes to RAW or Show goes to SmackDown!.

Team Awesome vs. Team Greatness sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I'm really excited for that match. Team Legacy vs. Team Charisma could also be good, but I have one small problem with it: Christian, as the ECW Champion, seems like a henchmen of Kofi in the team. It'd be nice if he sort of became a "co-captain" with Kofi. It just makes the ECW Title look crappy if, essentially, a mid-carder is leading the team that the ECW Champion is on.

Noid has a point....Kofi doesn't appear to be as "over" to me as WWE Creative and the brass are trying to make him. Until I see him in a one on one program with Orton....I won't give him positive position as an over face being more than a mid carder. I mean the guy has been Tag Team Champion, US Champion and IC Champion but so have many others that never ventured past the realm of mid card status....

Mr. Nerfect

I think Kofi is over. He's also incredibly talented. His new attitude has pretty much broken the limits on what he can do in the WWE. But I think it might be a case of "right place, wrong time" for Kofi. It seems like the sky has just opened for Kofi to feud with Orton, and while that is cool (especially if it does elevate Kofi), having so many more people involved because it is Survivor Series is a bit risky. I hope they do Orton vs. Kofi one-on-one at TLC.

Are they ever gunna do it like 1988 and have the survivors of each match go against eachother?

Only if Cena's not involved in a title match and therefore would have the opportunity to overcome the odds not once but twice in the same night.

In that case Cena and Primo vs Kane, Big Show, Masters, Orton, HHH, CM Punk, Kozlov, and Regal
