Jericho has been main eventing two shows a week consistently. He deserves to win again.

It would be awesome if Jericho won again, but this year might go to Orton, Cena, or Punk. Most likely Cena.

Punk. He's really proved himself this year.

Jericho doesn't win and he gets to dig out the "Conspiracy Victim" Signs.
The only other person I could think of besdes Jericho is Punk but he's been flailing lately.

I wonder if Yellow Shirt Fan is aware of his internet following.

CM Punk is who I figured it would be at one point this year. Punk has really had an incredible year. He won the Triple Crown in closer succession than anyone else in history, won Money in the Bank for a second time, won two-more World Heavyweight Titles, and "officially" became the first man to submit The Undertaker.
Chris Jericho could also lay a claim. His record-shattering ninth Intercontinental Title win, defeating three Hall of Famers at WrestleMania, holding the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship with two different partners. If he wins the World Heavyweight Title before the end of the year, I could see him getting the nod.
Randy Orton also, unfortunately, deserves mention. As does John Cena. Orton has won something like three WWE Championships this year, as well as the Royal Rumble, and beating Cena in Hell in a Cell. Cena has also been World Heavyweight Champion (which he won at WrestleMania) and WWE Champion. If he spends the rest of the year as WWE Champion, I think his chances go up. Triple H will also probably be nominated.

In true terms, Jericho. He has the busiest scheduale and the best matches.
I really don't care in terms of kayfabe success.

I don't think busiest schedule factors into it. Last year, Miz and Morrison were practically wrestling on all three shows. Not main eventing, but still wrestling.

But they weren't having the best match on the card like Jericho does, and the testiment is down to the amount he works yet still produces.
And I am not a Jericho mark at all.

CM Punk or Jericho. Would have added Jeff Hardy but the way he left and the eventual Drug charges probably takes him out of the race.
If the break it down by Brands, then Christian needs to win the ECW vote since he's helped establish the brand as their champion and helped with the new wrestlers the most.

I'll second Jericho. He has been absolutely amazing this year & having him repeat as superstar of the year would only add more fodder to his speeches.
I wonder if Yellow Shirt Fan is aware of his internet following.
I bet thegoat10 is Yellow Shirt Fan, and he "accidentally" put himself in the above gif, just for people here to vote for him.

Someone should make a thread for .gif of the year. The yellow shirt fan should be a front runner.

Christian would be my pick. Guy has been putting on weekly classics.

I agree with mostly everyone in this thread that either Jericho or Punk will lay claim to superstar of the year

It will likely go to whoever isn't currently either the WWE or WHC so i'd say either Randy Orton or CM Punk.

CM Punk, Chris Jericho or Rey Mysterio.
Schlomey

Why Rey Mysterio? He had a great series with Jericho, a few good outings in tag matches with Batista & is in an anticipated matchup against his former friend...and was suspended for drugs.
Not saying it's not possible, but guys like Jericho & Punk are more deserving this year in my eyes.

Hasn't Mysterio spent a lot of this year injured or just not on tv?
Jeff Hardy.
Wrestler and a druglord.

Christian would be my pick. Guy has been putting on weekly classics.
Chris Jericho but then Christian has been outstanding this year.

Kevin Nash. The man's quads can tear at any moment, yet he doesn't care and he goes and and lets other people bust their ass to make him look good in that ring 2 or 3 times a month.

BDC makes a compelling argument.
Miz & Morrison jointly, partly because they're both superb and have really stepped up as singles competitors, but mostly because I want to see another adversarial Dirt Sheet a la the one before Bragging Rights.

John Morrison has been impressive. His stuff with Miz at the start of the year was amusing and impressive while his later solo work has been outstanding.
Punk still gets the nod though

I'd say Punk.
Honourable mentions go to Morrison, Miz (never thought id sy that) Ziggler and Jericho.
