John Mayer - Battle Studies

I know the majority of people here probably couldn't care less, but for those few who do.. Anyone else listening to this album?

Probably my favorite CD of the year, tbh. Love every single song on it. It's not really like Continuum at all, but it is still fantastic. The music, the lyrics.. just fantastic all around.

Assassin owns the entire CD, and Edge of Desire is AWESOME

Who Says, Heartbreak Warfare, Half of My Heart, Friends, Lovers, or Nothing or all great

The Crossroads cover was iffy but I got used to it

I really love this album but I'm also a huge John Mayer fan so yea

Honestly if everyone wants a good album to start your day, this is it

I'm still waiting for him to make a better album than the John Mayer Trio one.

^Thought Where The Light Is was way better, as it had the best of all worlds of John Mayer. The Acoustic, the Trio, and the full Band. Thought all the Trio songs were at their best during this set.

John was not trying to do a blues album again.

This album he specifically wanted a 60's-70's California Rock sound
