That's an awesome team. I like everyone on it and it has a team canada feel, which is probably what you're going for.

Yep that was the intent and it was actually hard to narrow it down to just 5 heh I think there is enough for a 2nd team. Edge is only the only odd man out I think in this group since he is not a submission style wrestler. If I really wanted to stack this team I would have included Roddy Piper yeah that's right he's a Canuck.

Hey, you changed your pick. It now looks like I switched Storm for Benoit, which wasn't the case.

I almost went for: Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Lance Storm to keep it all Hart trained.

Yeah I originally had put Christian but he doesn't have a trademark submission move so he would make my other Canadian team's cut instead.

WWF vs WCW Survivor Series Match

vs

Team WWF - Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Mankind, and Shawn Michaels

2001 WCW vs. WWF Survivor Series match

Team WWF - Austin, Rock, Angle, Jericho, Undertaker. Kane

Team WCW - Sting, Goldberg, Booker T, Scott Steiner, DDP

This on the basis that everybody that was under WCW contract at the time of the buyout was available to wrestle at November '01 and the WWF wrestlers injured at this point (Triple H, Benoit etc) could not.

Team Canada vs. Team USA (I guess this would have had to have taken place some time around late 1998 early 1999)

Team Canada: Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Lance Storm, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho

Team USA: Stone Cold Steve Austin, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, Sting

It doesn't mention this on Wikipedia but I was sure he said in an interview I saw one time was that his father is Canadian and worked for the New York Rangers at the time of his birth.

Ted Irvine (Jericho's dad) didn't work for the New York Rangers.... he PLAYED for them.... and was a firly successful NHL player in the late 60's-early70's
