A lot of horrible choices for nominees since its just whoever sponsors the awards show (like EA) or games that just came out 1-2 months ago (Left4Dead2 came out 2 days before list released).

GAME OF THE YEAR

UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves (Sony Computer Entertainment / Naughty Dog)

When it comes down to it, uncharted just gave me a whole lot more "holy shit, this is awesome" moments than the other games. Multiplayer in lfd2, and mw2 is better, but uncharted 2's is still fun. And the single player was just that fun, that I can prefer it overall. This was still the hardest award to pick tho.

Left 4 Dead 2 (Valve)

The other 3 can be frustrating at times, with left 4 dead, it doesn't matter how much I die, I'm ALWAYS having fun. That's really what matters most.

Blazblue is probably the best game for hardcore enthusiasts, but for the fighting game community as a whole, gotta go with sf 4.

Simply because it encourages teamwork a lot more than cod. Yeah there is spec ops, but the missions are very short, and you can only play with friends.

This show is bullshit and has been since the very first ceremony. Little to nonexistant attention to Japanese and European games pretty much gives this show an automatic fail by me. It's a hype/circle-jerk show, nothing more. Surely you didn't expect something legit by SpikeTV?
