Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was on the Jack Diamond Morning Show in Washington, D.C. and said that he has a "great relationship" with Vince McMahon and the WWE. He also hinted that he'll be working with the WWE on a project.

"I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back whether it's on Smackdown and do a promo or guest-host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be," said Johnson. "Especially now, I'm at the point where I can go back and give back to the fans and help out the guys in any way I can."

Dwayne Johnson was also quoted said saying "Right now we're trying to put together - there is always something cool and interesting for me to do. I would like to do something more than just host the show," Johnson said. "I'm in the process of creating something really cool for the fans - something very special and unique. It will be something like one big entertaining show."

Just the thread I wanted to see, I can't even explain my excitement. I am anxious to see what they have planned. I honestly don't have a clue.

If he has one more match, I say it's either against Cena or HBK.

Come back Rock...come back...

A match or a program would be best case scenario. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I thought he and HBK had some bad blood? I know HBK expressed interest in facing The Rock after Summerslam 05 when he faced Hogan. But The Rock had no interest in Shawn. That match would be epic, no doubt if they can bury the hatchet. If he were to start a program, I think it would be with Mysterio first and foremost, and MAYBE Cena. Rock's got something up his sleeve, can't wait to see what it is.

The question I have about all of this is he actually going to come back and wrestle or is he just promoting his appearance on RAW as guest host in Jan

The Rock vs CM Punk for WM26 would be good I think.

That's what I was implying by a match being a best case scenario. I really think this is all for his Raw appearance as guest host and the show he'd like to put on more so than the possibility of him wrestling. He's still in tremendous shape, but our luck would have to be pretty good to see him in the ring with something that was worth a damn. If that does happen, I hope it wouldn't be a PG version of The Rock.

I hope that The Rock is talking about actually wrestling and having good matches, if so, now is the time to do it, he will be 38 in late spring next year.

If he does wrestle, gotta be The Rock vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania 26 in a normal match, no titles.

For some reason, I feel like Rock would be more likely to come back for a match at Summerslam than 'Mania.

he's lost so much weight and hasnt wrestled in a really long time. i remember rocky barely ever having any ring rust, but really, can he still put on a match? Would he still want to?

Rock is the exact kind of Guest Host they need, somebody comfotable with the live entertainment aspect. The only guest GM host Raw's I've seen was the Osbournes and it was awkward to watch them on promo duty.

What happened did he lose some stock due to Madoff? He totally seems to have changed his tune about wrestling, what no movie deal on the horizon? I knew this would happen we all did, eventually at least. I gotta hope for Cena/Rock at WM and a Cena heel turn.

Indeed it can be started by Punk stating that Rocky is addicted to the spotlight and go from there.

I'm hoping The Rock adds himself to the Royal Rumble match.

Yeah that would be great.

The pop would be incredible. I also think The Rock should enter.

Although I don't think The Rock should win the rumble match, I would love to see him finish in the top 4.

The question is, is this really going to happen or is it just talking nice?

Not saying it won't happen, but this does sound more along the lines of someone talking nice, open, and generic.

That's a good point, but I really hope this isn't all talk. Another question I have is how he will received from the live Raw audience. Today's crowd is very casual and doesn't seem to be rabid and crazy like they were in The Rock's day unless the show is in Chicago, Canada, or MSG. Anyone remember Smackdown's 10th Anniversary show? The crowd was terrible for The Rock's segment. If it's on a ppv, then I think the reception will be much more intense.
