I don't really keep up with toys. When I saw this commercial while watching Smackdown I was perplexed as it seemed like a joke.

I think this type of stuff is aimed more at collectors to be honest. Not saying kids don't get all over..but most "exclusive" at stores items seem to be purchased more by collectors judging from stuff I hear from friends who work at stores such as Toys R Us.

it looks like the old WCW ring that had removable red steel cage pieces

Totally agree with the Ziggler/Morrison O.T. statement. However, on the flip side of the coin, I'd like to find out who the hell was behind the lame-ass shenanigans involving Mickie. It was crudely done, in poor taste, and for all we know it probably did cause some degree of at least temporary psychological damage to her. And all that waste of airtime just to advance a damned diva elimination Survivor Series match storyline. Un-fucking-believable:nono::n:.

As for the Punjabi Prison playset, it's been out forever now, but still I can't help but feel that someone needs to be strangled for it's creation, especially when it's based off a shitty pay-per-view gimmick match which has only (thankfully) been done once, and all in the name of the almighty dollar.

Rammsteinmad is right...
1st one was Undertaker vs. Big Show.
2nd one was Batista vs. Khali

Executioner is right...
1st one sucked balls.
2nd one sucked ass.
Now, onto more serious questions: if there's basically two cages surrounding the ring with this playset, how the fuck are people supposed to actually play with the figures inside the ring? I mean they'd have to bend their arms in some fucked up angle to get in the ring...

WWE decided it was still too easy to see what happened in a cage match.

I think your putting too much thought into it. Besides, kids will play as happily with the box it comes in as much as the actual toy.

I was at Comic Con a month or so ago, and they had a Legends series of action figures... one of them was Bastion Booger. I came REALLY close to buying it, just to say that I own a Bastion Booger action figure.

My only complaint about the Ziggler/Morrison match was that it was too short. :D

Earlier this week I saw the Mr. Fuji figure. It comes with his runner's bib from when he "ran a marathon". I LOL'ed in the Wal-Mart.
I used to play wrestling using G.I. Joes and a ring made of a pizza box, pens and rubbers.
I'm hardcore.

The only wrestling Figure Ive bought in the last 15 years was the Classic Superstars Series Andy Kaufman.
When I was a kid I had the big ass ring and about 15 figures that Id always mess with, and all my matches would always end in either my Hogan or Warrior Wrestling Buddy crushing the ring.

If you're using condoms as ring ropes? Damn right...:shifty:

When I was a kid, I always had Venom win the matches. I would have my jobber figures too. This thread is such a psychological flashback. If only I could have seen myself back then and warned myself of what a huge fucking failure I would become...

Ha. I watched (skimmed through parts) on Dailymotion.com and the only cool part was when Batista jumped from one cage to the other.

As opposed to those non-psychological flashbacks

No, he means he doesn't know what a condom is.
I saw that at Toys R Us. I did not want it.
Then I realized I could sell off the figures, paint the inside blue, the outside silver and add a roof and I'd have a ready-made Kennel From Hell.
...Wait, that makes me want it even less.
