They seem to be giving Kofi a very big push lately. Anyone think he will win the Royal Rumble and go to Wrestlemania 26 and win either the World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE Title?

I think its possible, Kofi is very talented and has a huge following.

Grooming him? Yes. I don't know about the other stuff, seems a little soon.

I hope not just yet but they've blown their loads too early in the past so you never know. I doubt it though.

This needs a poll.

I thought about this the other week. The thing about Kofi Kingston is that everything has been clicking recently. I don't think the plan is to actually have him win the Rumble, or headline Mania or anything like that -- but if the guy keeps rolling along like he has been, then I could see him being given the Rumble win next year. Would not surprise me, anyway.

The iron is hot. Strike.

Although I think it would be cool if the WWE did that, I think in all likelihood, the WWE are just building up Kofi here so that it looks plausible that he could actually beat Orton one on one.

Kofi will probably job cleanly to Orton at the next PPV (or the one after that).

Having said that - I think Kofi Kingston is a strong candidate to win MITB next year at Mania.

If Kofi Kingston wins Money in the Bank next year, I would like to see him be the guy that everyone talks about: The WrestleMania main event crasher. Have Triple H and Shawn Michaels get into a program over the WWE Title, and they have their match to "close the show." Shawn Michaels retains the title, and then "SOS" hits, and out comes Mr. Money in the Bank.

Let HBK and Kofi actually have a fairly intense exchange between them (because they are both banged up), but eventually Kofi beats Michaels to the kick, and wins his first WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 26.

I guess they could also just keep the Orton program going until WrestleMania. Let them have a match next month at TLC, where Kingston loses because of Legacy getting involved. Kofi enters the Rumble way before Orton, and when Orton comes in, fresh as a daisy; Kofi is tossed by Orton rather easily. Later on, though, Kofi runs back out and dumps out Orton.

What was No Way Out features Orton and Kofi both in RAW's Elimination Chamber, and Kofi eliminates Orton from that match. Then Orton hits Kofi with an RKO before he leaves the cell, just to ruin Kofi's chances. Bam! WrestleMania match.

I don't think Kofi is ready to carry that title, let alone close out Mania.

Needs more time to build IMO

This year? No.

Next year or the year after that? Much more likely (and the better plan).

No way Kofi is wrestling for the title at WM with HBK, HHH, and Cena on the same roster. He'll probably be in the final two in an elimination chamber at No Way Out and then put on another show at MITB.

There's no way he will be the winner of the Rumble but I can see him possibly winning the MITB. Sure there pushing him to the moon right now but his momentum could stop suddenly soon for all we know it's happened to other guys before. Let's face it if he didn't have Orton's number it wouldn't be much of feud to begin with only time will tell.

I am definitely liking the fact that Kofi is getting a huge push. To be honest, I feel that we may get a repeat winner of the Royal Rumble, I don't think we've had a repeat winner since 2001 in Stone Cold Steve Austin. I wouldn't complain about that. However, Kofi winning the Rumble seems like a definite possibility. However, what I am seeing is that Kofi has the best shot of winning MITB and cashing in to win the WWE or World Heavyweight title. We'll see what happens.

I could really see him win MITB and cash it in next summer if they keep his push going.

Every bloody year you say this. It simply won't ever happen.

If you're gonna do that..why not go all out and have him beat Taker after Taker's Title match (?) at Wrestlemania?

I thought about this. What I want to see is this:

Have Kofi and Orton be the final two in the Rumble. Kofi has to look strong here, so have Orton eliminate him cheaply. Like being eliminated but the refs not seeing it and then throwing Kofi out.

Move onto Elimination Chamber, and let him be in the final two. Let him show strong but Cena get the win. Cena can then do the whole face rub with a "I'm cool with you" celebration.

Then build Kofi up into the MITB, with guys like Morrison, Rey, Christian, etc. Have him win in a very strong showing and have Orton win against Cena.

Next night on RAW, Kofi announces that he wants Orton at Backlash. Orton manages to win, but it's close.

Kofi gets a rematch, and it's one of those false finishes where everyone thinks Kofi's won the title but didn't because of a technicality.

Continue it through the Summer, maybe letting Kofi have a month or two on the undercard, then put him to win the title from Orton at SummerSlam.

They could do that -- if they wanted Kofi to essentially do something that no one has ever done him before, and give him the biggest rub they can give anyone. Ending the streak is a more impressive feat than simply winning a World Title these days.

I sort of wish the WWE would put an unexpected guy in the WrestleMania main event. Maybe not even to close the show. When you have matches like Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, do they really need the WWE Title? The match itself is a draw. Why not have Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a battle of Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, or just label it "D-Generation X Implodes." Maybe give them a #1 Contender's stip. They are big enough that their program doesn't need the WWE Title in there. Especially since both guys should be thinking about grooming new stars.

Also, after RAW, it seems like Cena is set to be WWE Champion until at least the Rumble, and Kofi is still going strong against Orton. If Kofi goes over Orton (which would be a huge rub for the guy), then who is actually a better choice to move up?
