I absolutely love them. Easily my new favorite band since I started listening to them this past year. They are from New Jersey and the lead singer was a huge Bruce fan growing up.

Here's them preforming with Bruce doing my favorite song of thiers, "59 Sound"

Are you serious right now? I've already made a thread expressing my undying love to them. They're my favorite band by far atm.

The 59' Sound was the best album of 2009 easily.

Really like them a lot. You can hear a lot of Bruce influences in their sound.

Honestly didn't get what the big deal was about this band. Listened to that CD several times as was recommended by TPWW some time back, and it did nothing for me. Can understand why people would like it.. but not near the amount of praise it was getting by so many people here. Have not had any urge to listen to it or any of their songs since then.

I love them. In a way I cannot express with just words, or my penis, or rope.

I saw them when they opened for Rise Against and Alkaline Trio last year in November. I didn't think much of them until I downloaded "59 Sound." I listened to the album constantly through Dec 2008- March 2009 when I was driving my car. Then I got Sink or Swim and loved it even more. Then I got the Senor and the Queen EP to compliment my collection.

I have been listening to them very regularly for a year now, culminating with an amazing performance at Pop's Night Club in St. Louis.

I really can't put my finger on why I like them so much. The music just sounds really honest (wierd musical description). I don't even really like Bruce Springsteen that much. On the other hand I love The Clash, Bob Dylan, and Against Me!

my best friend died in a car accident and that song about "hear the rattling chains in the hospital walls" makes me sad :(

that's the 59 Sound. It's actually about his friend dying in a car accident the night he was playing a show down the street.

in the beginning of the song he mentions " I hope we don't hear Marley's chains" meaning Jacob Marley in the Christmas Carrol. Hence the "did you hear the rattling chains in the hospitsl walls"

Yeah, I know, i didn't really want to go into the dpeth because i tmakes me sad toeven think about, sometimes I still dream that he is alive, and I'm like 100% convinced he is.
