How do you feel about him? I think he is starting to make the right moves with the Cheifs. They got rid of LJ, won two games since then, and the Chargers game, well the players were fucking up. Plus the were still playing in the second half of the game. Now I know the Cheifs are a losing team right now, but it looks like to me and my untrained eye that they are starting to string together the things they need to do to get to wins, and maybe even winning streaks.

Discuss or call me a dumb ass douche that know nothing of football.

Lets see what happens in off season I guess. We need some defense for one, and some offensive line guys.

Well I was never expecting the Cheifs to have a winning year, and from what I understand they were only suppose to win 2 games this year, and they have won 3.

I was gonna say get a RB like Steven Jackson or something, but Jamaal Charles is a fast son of a bitch, with some experience he may be really great.

He's done a fairly good job with what he has to work with, most of the really good players they have had in the last few years went out the door last season and he was left with scraps. He has a young coachable team and a GM that knows what is needed to win. If the ownership doesn't get antsy and drop him, I believe he could have them winning in a couple seasons.

I'm still not all that high on your qb though.

Yeah, Cassel can make some great passes, others tho look terrible.

Yeah...we need a better qb.

I think the issue right now is that Haley knows what needs to be done, can see it in his head, but the team is too inexperienced to get done what needs to be done.

Plus KC probably has one of the best home field advantages in football, at least in my opinion. I don't know what it is, but at least for Denver, it is so hard to win there even when the Chiefs are terrible...unfortunately that is where they are playing this week so I'm a little worried.

Why? When our stadium is empty, the loudness doesn't come.

In the 10 games played in KC since John Elway retired the Chiefs have won 8 times including last year, so needless to say I don't look forward to games in KC.

Matt Cassel is Brtad Johnson in his prime. He can make very good decisions with the football and his accuracy is very good, but he just doesn't have the big arm to make every play. He's a damn solid starting quarterback in the NFL, I don't doubt his intelligence or decision making ability. I just don't think he was worth breaking the bank for.

I agree with you there, they are rebuilding and I really hope Matt Cassel works out for us. All that aside, they fuckin' blew that game against Cleveland today, should have won that one.

I think Cassel would be a great QB, if he had better people protecting him. He has no offensive line. The proof in that is what he did in New England during Brady's injury, at least part of it anyways.

What a joke KC is right now though taking the play calling power away from the head coach and giving it all to Todd Haley

I was going to say something negative about that entire organization until i saw those...he might very well be my favorite head coach now.
