What is your favorite so far? If you haven't seen them all I suggest you do that first and if you haven't seen the last 2 episodes of season 4 you can wait to vote.

Of course Juan would pick the season that focused on his deranged Hispanic cousins.

Really tough call, IMO. Love every season so far. Gonna wait till the last 2 episodes to vote though.

Haven't seen any of season four yet. I like for it to finish and then watch at my own pace.

Out of the first three, season two was by far the best.

Season Two was actually my least favorite, because I couldn't stand the Lila character and was pretty pissed that they decided to kill Doakes after only two seasons.

I haven't even finished watching Season 4 yet, and it's already been my favorite. In order -- 4, 1, 3, 2 for me.

Every season I think has kicked ass in its own right. Its a tough call. Right now though, I really do feel Season 4 is the best season of them all. But its very close. I have a hard time ranking them too, because there all great.

Season 1 because this one hasn't finished yet.

4 because of the Lithgow

4, 1, 3=2

I like that this season has so much build to it. John Lithgow is probably the best bad guy as well. Season One was good because everything was fresh and we didn't really know what to expect. Great job establishing the backstory. Seasons Three and Two I think are more or less even. They both tell good stories, have plenty of victims and the bad guys stand out in their own ways. I don't think they are weaker seasons, I just think the others are that much better.

I love this season. First of all, the plot isn't incredibly lofty, and the serial killer really serves to highlight important elements of Dexter's character.

It is by far the most "down to earth" of all the seasons so far, and has paid off with two of the best back to back episodes the show as ever offered.

Otherwise, I've always really liked season 1

Also, this season has had some GREAT victims. The episode with that honey who killed her family (the cop) was PHENOMENAL despite doing nothing to extend the season's storyline.

Yeah she was hot and all flirting with Dexter. Out of the casual kills he makes I wanted that one to go on a little bit longer.

The first season I thought Rudy was played by one of the Beastie Boys which bothered me throughout the season. And what's up with Laguerta flirting with Dexter and then it went nowhere at all?

I think they had Season One Laguerta written to be more of a slut. I think the Chief made references to her sleeping with people to get what she needed. That got dropped and now she's more likable.

Guess what Doakes, Miguel Prado and Batista have in common?

Probably Season 1. The whole Ice Truck Killer ending up being Dexter's brother was amazing.

I don't know why you added a spoiler tag to my question. It didn't spoil anything at all.

Season 1 was enjoyable as you weren't sure what you were getting into really.

Season 2 was a bit of a letdown for me, not all the memorable and I loved Doakes.

Season 3 had a good build up but a terrible finish to everthing.

Season 4 has had an amazing build up, but because of season 3's weak close I am worried. But assuming the final 2 episodes aren't a huge let down, I think season 4 may be my favorite. Things are just getting nice and intense, and those previews for final 2 episodes are wicked.

Because I thought you had seen them already somehow. My bad.

Anyone feel like they were going the direction of Doakes with Quinn following Dexter around?

I thought about it. When Doakes is introduced he already seemed to be pretty suspicious of Dexter. Their tension must have existed for awhile and been kind of intense to get out of hand like it did. I feel like Quinn will end up being okay with Dexter though because he doesn't really have anything to go on and he is partners with his sister.

Really too close for me to call. Like someone said, they all kick ass in their own way. Don't know which one to pick.

How would one get their hands on the last two episodes?

He didn't have a code and the darkness took him over.
