I was born in 1984. Every year, there is a Wrestlemania, and then shortly after I have a birthday.
So I wonder.
Will it get to Wrestlemania 50? 60? 75? I also wonder if I'll make it that far as well.
Anybody ever thought of something like this?

There will Wrestlemania and WWE for as long to come as long as fans watch the product, buy merchandies, buy tickets, buy PPV/Webcasts and overall support the company and the product it represents. Its called brand recognition, something WWE is very good at in their demographic and marketing areas.

We both know you weren't. Its okay. So answer the fucking question. Also, the eagles suck. And Allen Iverson is a fag.

I hear that brand recognition crap thrown around the office all day long. Well...whenever I go to the office, anyway. Tell me, what do you think has more calories - fuictose or real sugar?

Lol you really know my favorites. WrestleMania will be around as long as the writers don't hire Vince Russo.

WWWF/WWF/WWE has been around for a loooong time. If the McMahons had thought of WrestleMania in the 60s or 70s, it'd still be around today.
What I keep thinking about is during WrestleMania X-Seven, Bobby Heenan joking that by the time the Iron Sheik entered the ring it'd be WrestleMania 34 or something. Back then, I didn't think that would ever be a possibility. But looking back, and looking at how we're already at WM 26, that's definitely a possibility. I can see there being a WrestleMania 40, 50, even a 60.
Imagine... WrestleMania L. ;)
Think of it this way... the SuperBowl is up to XLIII, isn't it?
I can't wait for WrestleMania XXX. That should signal the end of PG by having Edge have a Live Sex Celebration uncensored.
Actually, maybe that's their plan all along. The time line works out pretty well too, since the current fans will be in their "rebellious" phase by then.

Hate to break it to you, but the first Wrestlemania was in 1985.

Yeah 1st one, 1985... And yea the Eagles suck...
I see Wrestlemania being around for many decades to come. They have been playing the large domes/stadiums for years now, and cities are bidding on the event like they do with the Super Bowl.
Since they seem committed to playing the domes/stadiums each year now, I kind of wonder if Madison Square Garden would get the nod to host the event since its a 20,000 seat arena? If not, maybe they could play Giants Stadium, at least they are still in New York City.
If they don't do MSG I could see them doing it in Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, though being in the north and not one stadium having a fucking dome on it (which was a huge mistake, considering every stadium/arena around here is getting a revamp or replacement, outside of MSG) could fuck with that. I'd prefer MSG just because the history is there, but at the very least it has to be in New York (or at Giants/Meadowlands Stadium, which is technically New Jersey).

Every tenth WrestleMania better be in the Garden...it's tradition.

Yankee Stadium would be awesome, but in late March, I would think they would be concerned for the cold weather since Yankee Stadium is an outdoor stadium. If they weren't, I would be hoping for Wrestlemania to come to Kansas City and play Arrowhead Stadium.
Yeah that's my main concern with it. They can't risk snow especially, but imagine how awesome WrestleMania would be in a blizzard.
Fuck, Shaemus would have the ultimate advantage. He'd just blend right in. Could steal the MITB and no one would be the wiser.

Yeah, with Sheamus, all you would see is some red hair and a red beard, then some black trunks and boots mysteriously floating down the aisle to the ring.
Snow is just one of the things with Mania outdoors, no wrestler would want to be nearly 100% uncovered in 10 or 20 degree weather.
Well, in terms of the cold I'm sure they could set up some kind of heating system for the ring and ramp, so it wouldn't be that huge of a deal.

You are right there, only if its a still cold, if the wind is blowing, no heater is going to help. Also consider them sweating and the moisture on their bodies and how much more cold they would be like that. Heaters would maybe work around the ring, but what happens in the aisle way? The wrestlers would have to ride motorcycles or just take off running up the aisle to get backstage.

an Inferno Match would help with the cold

An entire WrestleMania of inferno Matches could be the worst one in history....even with WrestleMania 9
Vince Russo: Hey Dixie, could we rig something up for an Inferno PPV?

I'm sure WrestleMania will last for as long as the WWE exsists.
I can't wait for WrestleMania XXX though. I'm sure it'll be at MSG, as Sascha said, it's tradition.
I'm planning on saving up for WrestleMania XXX, starting next year. That should give me more than enough time to raise the right amount of funds for it. :D
I'm def going too. And my idea is to get as close as I can and I'm really going to do it up.
Gonna need to be a TPWW meet up for that one.

I have decided I am going to save money as well for this event
I'm actually considering hitting the Skydome one if they actually do it.
Wrestlemania 30 would definitely be awesome to go to. I just hope for your sakes that its here in the United States assuming you all live here, if they chose London or something, it would be much more costly for a flight and to just stay there.
I suggest you all make a vacation of it though, go to Wrestlemania weekend Friday Saturday and Sunday, then go to RAW live and the Smackdown taping following Wrestlemania.
I went to Armageddon 2002 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and then made RAW in Orlando the next night then Smackdown in Tampa the night after that. That was just awesome all around.
They gotta do Wrestlemania in Dallas at the new Cowboys stadium with over 100,000 people there and those huge video screens. Its time to break Wrestlemania 3's attendance record.
They've already done that if the real numbers I've heard from Mania 3 are correct.
Think they really did somewhere between 65 and 75k.

Well I'm Scottish but I hope WrestleMania XXX takes place at MSG. It just wouldn't feel right if it was somewhere else, especially London.
Depending on how much money I manage to raise from now until 2014, I might make a weekend of it and go to the Raw & SmackDown after WrestleMania XXX.

I don't know man, that Silverdome looked fuckin huge and was packed with people. I believe there was 93,000+ there

Scottish huh? Do you live in Scotland? I flew to Glasgow in 2000 and spent my vacation in Edinburgh. What an awesome place.

Yeah, I live in Scotland. Dundee to be exact.
And yeah, Edinburgh is an awesome place. Been there many times. You never seem to run out of things to do in Edinburgh. :y:
Yeah I stayed for about two weeks, can't remeber the flat I stayed in where it was exactly, but it was right by Prices Street where they have the 3 story virgin megastore, the two story underground mall, and Edinburgh Castle. That was amazing.
I also remember taking a coach bus tour that lasted like nine hours straight of just going over hills, bumps and all of that, most all of the people in the bus were trying all they could not to throw up, worst experience ever.
if I remember right, I went to a place called Rose Street, which is right by Princes Street and its this tiny road where its nothing but pubs, just one after another, nothing else like 80 of them. Had some fun there. I want to go back there someday.

Definitely plan on going to Wrestlemania 30, assuming it's at MSG. Worried about getting tickets for it though, didn't XX sell out in minutes? Think I may go for a travel package to guarantee a ticket. If it's not going to be at MSG then no chance will it be in NYC. No way they'd hold an outdoor event in that climate at that time of year.
