Do you ever get too involved in the game? What I mean is sometimes I'm playing Chrono Trigger or any Final Fantasy title and I get too wrapped up in the game that I start to feel really weird. And then I want to watch some TV or talk to people to reconnect with the outside world.

Yeah. When I first started playing Oblivion I was playing and before I knew it 7 hours went by.

Dragon Age does that to me. Get sucked in and play all day. Once I get to finishing it completely (as in all origins and endings jafdjhdfs) I'll move on to Oblivion and it's right back to where we started.

I cried when Aeris died. :'(

No, but seriously, no. I have horrible ADD and I get annoyed with games when the save points are too far apart. DAO's "save (almost) anywhere" deal is great for that, because I can play for half an hour and break shit off where I want to.

I tend to avoid periods where I know I can't save or stop.

As in the story of the game yeah in Mother and in some Final Fantasies. As in just getting "sucked in" to a game yeah I do that with Zelda, I played Twilight Princess for three days straight.

I remember getting into Grand Theft Auto (forgot exactly which one but I wanna say San Andreas) like that.

I started playing one night telling myself I was gonna do like 2 missions and next thing I know 8 hours have passed and all Ive done is blown people up, demolision derby and jumped a billion times with a parachute.

Is there a name for that? The whole, "One more hour" and 3 hours pass thing?

You mean besides the obvious "addiction?"

Yeah. Knights of the Old Republic 2. When I found HK-47 in the cargo hold and was damaged. I didn't stop till I rebuilt him.

Loved the assassin droid.

Fuck yeah, I hate games where you can't just save because of the ADD.

Made me cry everytime...

I had to listen to Barrets/Clouds super fucking long story that is broken up by an option to save.

Save anywhere FTW.

I remember the first time playing FF7 at the part where Cloud goes into the lifestream to find out about his past and it took like an hour without saving. My mom was yelling at us and we kept telling her to wait because we couldn't save. lol

Only RPG's I've ever really gotten into were ES III: Morrowind and ES IV: Oblivion, and when I get to playing either of those it can sometimes go upwards of 12 hours for me, those games are just that damned addicting.
