Pick an actor you like and and type your favorite movie with said actor. It sparks debates of which movie is better by said actor as well as gives people interest in seeing new movies. That's whats happening :)

Easily his & Furongs best film. I am kinda partial to Detroit Rock City for Furlong but this was a seriously amazing film. Good choice.

What about Death To Smoochy for Norton? I loved it but I know that I'm in the minority.

Heros Welcome
12-07-2009, 02:37 PM
Death to Smoochy is also up there for me. I was a lil tempted to put Fight Club also, but AHX is def Nortons best IMO. Where as Fight Club is more Pitt.

Schlomey
12-07-2009, 02:39 PM
Agree with that.

Picking Brad Pitt's best movie would be tough as hell for me. He has played in so many great movies and has had so many great characters.....Interview with a Vampire to Benjamin Button to some of his smaller roles like the pot head roomate in True Romance. Dude has had his hand is some of my favorite movies ever. Oh yeah, and Oceans 11.

Heros Welcome
12-07-2009, 02:44 PM
Yeah Pitts tough for me to. Seven, Troy, Fight Club, Oceans 11, Burn After Reading, Inglourious Basterds. Sometimes I let Pitt slip my mind, yet in the end, I'm just like you, he's in a lot of my favorite movies.

Schlomey
12-07-2009, 02:45 PM
Damn that reminds me I still need to see Basterds. Se7en is one I loved growing up but need to rewatch it now as an adult.

Oh and Pitt in a period piece like Troy didn't excite me at first...But I liked it so much I actually bought it..which is rare that I pay for movies. It was better than Gladiator in my opinion.

People I went with claimed it to be too long, and drawn out and they got bored. But I was locked into the whole movie and thought it was awesome.

12-07-2009, 02:48 PM
I didn't figure he could really pull it off but he did. I loved his introduction in the film where he totally tore up that big mother fucker.

So who next.....hmmmmm....

XCaliber

Does he have to be in a lead role necesserily?

Schlomey

no way.

I considered Pitt for his 2 minute role in True Romance because he was memorable (even for a brief minute) & it's my favorite film.

I liked Death to Smoochy but I was hoping it would be blacker. American History X is easily Edward Norton's best performance. He is very good in The Score playing a thief who acts like a retarded guy.

For Brad Pitt I would go with 12 Monkeys or The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Se7en is a great movie, but I don't think Pitt's performance makes the film like the other two.

Johnny Depp

Tough call for me. Depp is probably my favorite actor, but I went with this film probably based on the fact it was one of the first movies I watched ever. So I have that soft spot for it. But I'm really curious to see what people think his best work is.

Ed Wood? Pirates? Donnie Brasco? Blow? The list can go on an on.

Was I the only person alive to think this movie wasn't that good/special?

Nah I was rather disappointed by it myself I'm sure the book it's based on is much better. As much as a really like Clive as an actor I'm not such a big fan of his projects. In fact if I was forced to pick his best I would have to go with King Arthur if anything.
