It's amazing.
If it wasn't so obscure to a lot of people, it might be GOTY material.
It's punishingly difficult though, but it's not the annoying kind of difficulty. I honestly have never felt more satisfied in a game when I get through a section, mainly because you feel that you have to work for everything.
An interesting note: The more you die, the more difficult the game itself gets (World Tendency, it's called. The more you die, the harder the enemies become).
However, it is definitely worth a look. Great game.

lawl is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen ad you do it constantly. Either you have no people skills or no desire to have them.

I dunno, if an RPG is going to be hard, it should be because of excellent AI and puzzles, not memorization of a list of death traps.

That wouldn't be so funny if it didn't come from you, clox.

LAWL.
What?
I'm seriously curious. I had heard quite a bit about this game from forums and such. Picked it up, and was most impressed. Granted, this is the kind of stuff I eat up, but I still found it very satisfying. Annoying? Oh yeah. But satisfying all the same.

Seems a bit slow for my taste. I do like the way it integrates 'multiplayer' with the 'spirit notes' and the like. I don't know about GotY but it makes for interesting study in alternative network gameplay. Nice visuals and ideas but it seems to go slow for absolutely no reason at all (movement wise, not story pacing or anything).
