After watching ECW, like I do every week since it is by far the best show at the moment, more specifically the Tommy Dreamer/Zack Ryder confrontation. I started thinking about Dreamer being I guess the ultimate jobber. Always putting others ahead of himself even though he is still respected as a very amazing wrestler, some may even call a legend.
Which got me to thinking, will Dreamer be the first die hard ECW superstar to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? I don't think any other superstars who have appeared on ECW before WWE have made it except Austin.. unless I am wrong..?
Or do you think Dreamer won't make it to the WWE Hall of Fame at all?

As much as he has done for them, they'd be pretty cold for not letting him have that at least. Granted I don't think he'll be the first ECW guy inducted, something tells me RVD gets that, but yes, he'll get there 1 day.

Has Tommy been on any other brand other then EC Dub? Wasn't he a member of Raw at one time? I forget.

Like Ermax said, RVD first, then Dreamer. I'd also like to see Sabu get in there one day.

I do believe you are correct. He was on Raw for a while after the Invasion and then he was moved to ECW when they brought it back. He was the last Hardcore Champ too until the title was unified with RVD's Intercontinental Title.

Yeah, it's a shame about the Hardcore Championship. I still don't see what the harm could possibly be with bringing it back, maybe just without the 24/7 rule which may sound like sacrilege to some, but I think it'd work just fine.
One idea to re-introduce it would be possibly have Edge return stating that he convinced one Mick Foley before he left WWE to give up his half of the claim to co-ownership of the title, and then have Edge "donate" it to the ECW (or whatever it's soon to be called) brand, for use there.

Sabu?? He was only in WWE for like 12-18 months and he did nothing except piss management off. I know hes nuts but hes not a good wrestler at all and he botches in almost every match, i would be stunned and saddened if he gets in

Terry Funk and Eddie Guerrero are both ECW guys.

They probably should have an ECW on non-WWE wing of the Hall. Most of the ECW greats did nothing in WWE but still made huge contributions to wrestling in general.

I think Dreamer might get in as the ECW inductee. I think they'll put one in just as a salute to the organization that worked so well with the WWF and it'll either be Dreamer or Heyman. The other guys with ECW ties all had huge success outside of ECW, but with Dreamer the only thing that comes to mind is ECW.

I would have thought Taz/Tazz would have been the 1st long time ECW guy to be in the WWE Hall but since he left for TNA, I could see Vince snub him and send in Dreamer as the 1st ECW entry.
Both guys do deserve to be in it if they start including ECW wrestlers.

I dont think Tommy Dreamer will get in first. Im almost willing to bet RVD gets in first, and thats a slim shot at best..

Heyman will get in first.
Honestly I could see one where they do a few ECW guys. Those three would be the most likely.

I could see Heyman most definately. Then RVD, and then Dreamer. I'd say Tazz, Foley, and the Dudleys all would get there too, but as long as they are in TNA, there isn't a hell's chance. Same could be said for Bischoff when you think about it. I mean if you induct Heyman, you might as well induct Bischoff too.
Bischoff deserves it, for sure. But with him pretty much declaring war against Vince again I can't see it.

What makes Tommy Dreamer a 'very amazing wrestler'? He's a decent worker who has soem decent charisma, but he's extremely limited in the ring and he's never been in a five star classic in his life.

His father got in and he was never part of WWE at all. Also, they should mostly consider him on his merits of what he did in the original ECW, not just in WWE.

Speaking of dreamer, anyone remember this:
