I heard that the belt was Austin's Smokin' Skull Belt with a Texas flag sticker over it and Bull Horns on it when Bradshaw had it, and when Dreamer had his belt, it was just Austin's Smokin' Skull Belt with a New York Licence Plate over it.

Oh, and back to the topic, Tommy Dreamer could have made a credible ECW champion had WWE non fucked up its handling of the brand. Had they made it even half of what the original ECW was, having men like Dreamer, RVD, Sabu, Sandman wear the belt to establish the brand and then pass the torch would have been great... but then, that's a whole other thread. Having Dreamer champion of today's ECW just kinda made him look wet, in my opinion, because of how WWECW is viewed alongside RAW and SD!.

I agree..I had a friend who I introduced to the old ECW tapes and videos. He always heard me run my mouth about the old ECW and when the new ECW came around he was like "this shit sucks." Back in the old days of ECW, i use to mark out for any match that had Dreamer. Now, I watch Dreamer..and I just don't care..he is boring to watch..they always talk how he is the spirit of ECW and all this crap..I am glad Sandman and the rest got out before they were ruined.

Yeah WWE dropped the ball on ECW big time. They had a chance to redeem themselves for the WCW acquisition failure, and instead fucked up the 'new ECW' from DAY FUCKING ONE. It was the shittiest TV I'd see in a long time.
