Most of the cast are doing well compared to most 'where are they now' stories, and better yet some are still in the biz and looking good. You think a reunion movie bringing the cast back together would be cool?

I think everyone in the cast is probably doing well thanks to royalty checks.
The problem is most of the cast is doing too well. You would spend almost your entire budget on getting the Olsens (but I guess you could only use one) and John Stamos. Dave Coullier would probably pay you for the appearance though. When all is said and done I don't think this thing would be a worthwhile project.

Aside from two or three ego issues this would be fucking awesome.
Wonder how "Jesse's" kids look now, the twin boys.

Mary Kate would be cheaper she does crack
Stamos said he has the rights to make a movie, and was planning on doing it. He was going with an all new cast.

Always liked that guy, but this isn't something worth remaking.
Neither was the Brady Bunch.

"'Full House' The Movie!: Will ABC's TGIF classic series "Full House" live again on the big screen? If John Stamos gets his way, it just might! "I'm working on a movie idea, but it wouldn't be us playing us. I'm not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years" the actor told The New York Daily News' Gate Crasher. "I see Steve Carell as [Bob Saget's character] Danny Tanner and Tracy Morgan as [Dave Coulier's] Joey Gladstone because he's funny." As long Kimmy Gibbler makes a cameo, we're so there!"

If they did it with todays humour, not necessarily racy by any means, but some sort of real issue to a story, but not too dramatic. It couldn't be like it was or it just wouldn't connect, and be a letdown essentialy because people built it up in there minds as better since htey haven't probably watched it in years (unless they watch reruns which the small demographic of hardcore fans would have) It's the illusion of greatness they'd have to surpass. And that is, in my mind, the problem with reunion shows.
So stoned right now.

Yeah I don't see how that could be really serious, dunno though. I don't see why Joey/Jesse/Danny can't be played by same characters. Like if they want to do new kids I can understand that, but those 3 are still good friends and I think all of them would be willing to be involved probably. Specially if Stamos has the rights.

I think they should just give Joey Gladstone his own show. He should be living in a gay couple's basement and living off of pork beans right out of the can.
It should be explained why he was exiled from the Tanner household, and hilarity can ensue as he tries to find a job, love, and peace in San Francisco with his wacky gay landlords

I'd watch it, just for "Cut. It. Out."

I think Alanis Morisette has raised the stock of Dave Coulier quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure the girl that played Stephanie got addicted to meth. Read some article about it a while back

do it stamos
Didn't this middle daughter lose her teeth to drugs or something?
I think it could be great. Start the whole thing with all of the family members separated from each other. Jesse is a loser who lives in an apartment and collects small royalty checks for his meager record sales - his wife, Becky, divorced him years ago and moved out with the twins, shacking up with Jesse's old bass player.
Michelle is off in college and is known for giving the best blowjobs in her sorority. DJ and Steve married and moved to New York City where she works as a doctor and he works as a mechanic. Their marriage is on the rocks due to his binge drinking and gambling problem. Stephanie is a stripper in a high end club in Las Vegas - she makes great money, but has a cocaine problem.
When Danny's talk show and Joey's puppet show were both cancelled, the two men struggled looking for work in this bleak economy. They ended up turning the old downstairs studio into a giant grow room and make money selling weed to distributors (they live in San Fran and Cali has green card laws). Joey is baked most of the time and Danny meets lots of prostitutes.
When Danny gets a call about a beach house reservation he made 15 years ago, he decides to hold a little family reunion, and everyone flies to Hawaii for a Tanner Family get together. But what they find out is that the years have changed their glossy, perfect family into a pack of erratic freaks.

That would actually be win, in a satirical kind of way. Sort of underplaying the whole 'American family' visual. If you scale back some of the extreme elements, it could be a compelling movie.

The should make it but let Bob Saget write it in dark manner.
Like it takes place years later when DJ is dead (somehow), Jesse is awaiting trial of a murder, and the middle sister or michelle is addicted to crack.
