CONFIRMED from various sources that I have read and even Hollywood Insider who did a red carpet interview with the Rock for his latest movie for Disney/Pixar and quoted:

"Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson recently spoke to one our red carpet journalist at the premiere of his new animated film for Disney/Pixar film and asked if a return to the world of professsional wrestling was in his future and a return to WWE-World Wrestling Entertainment, where Johnson first made notareity as a professional wrestler. Johnson stated "A return to where I began to professional wrestling and to WWE is always possible. Give the right circumstances and right timing, I would consider it an honor to be back in WWE. They had contacted me to do an event in January, but I have begun shooting for another movie and we are considernig another date later in the year possibly:.
