Let's get this over with and see how the majority of TPWW feels about John Cena.

I don't like his character, but I really don't mind him as a wrestler, he could be alright and puts on decent matches every now and then.

a healthy dislike for me..... not so much him as the person, but IMO he's sub-par in the ring and his promos are god-awful (most of which is to blame on the writers, but still) However, no matter how much people despise him, you cannot deny that he has a tremendous passion for pro wrestling

If he was told to fucking sell abit more during matches i would like him, but because he doesn't i find his matches for the most part, irritating and pointless. Its like we'll go..'oohh what a rko on cena' and he'll be up within a second and win. Had enough of it tbh.

Same feelings I have as well.
He's very marketable and does generate merchandise sales for the WWE but he seems to be getting worse in terms of wrestling and promos over time than he should be or compared to past big name stars.
The Rock or Hogan also had a few moves they would do per match but unlike Cena they knew how to make them work with the flow of the match and how to sell moves to help improve the quality of the match.

Maybe if he would fuck right off with the motivational "speaking into shouting" speeches week in week out he MIGHT...MIGHT be a bit more tolerable.
Untill then he can gtf off my screen. :foc:
I've always felt he could easily be carrying the company as an overall face for all fans. They just have him in the wrong gimmick.

I don't hate him, but I dont love him. He needs to have the right people around him to be good. I like how they have been using him the past few months. He is not being shoved down our throats which makes him ok to watch.

He was pretty much my favourite wrestler when he was rapping. That ended right after his promo with Y2J and Christian the night he debuted on Raw. He never rapped after that and he took on the fuckin irritating, pathetic, sucking-the-fans-cocks gimmick he has now. It was made worse by that fucking theme song and his stupid salute he adopted when promoting the marine. His wrestling is nasty and his promos are embarrassing. The marine was absolute wank and until Cena changes his character so is he.

The second i hear his theme music and he walks out from backstage, for whatever reason I always find myself rolling my eyes.

Not a fan of who he is now and who he thinks he belongs to become. His promo's as everyone has said are horrible...how he just screams like he's giving a pep talk to a football team. Lame shit. His wrestling isnt horrible, and once in awhile he does come through with a mediocre effort in the match, but like him and his promo's and his ring attire and his lil kid followers...it's all bland.

This is exactly how I feel.

He needs to improve on his basic wrestling moves. Also, his promos suck. I don't understand why he still wrestles in those stupid shorts with his stupid boxers up around his belly button, he looks retarded. They should've kept him as Prototype or at least have him wear more of a superstar look ring gear

One of my main problems with new superstars is how boring and samey they look. I quite like Cena's look, makes him a little different plus he's a brawler so it makes sense that he dresses a bit 'street'. Even if it's wigga street
I vote 'meh' he's not one of my favourites but he has fairly good matches given decent opposition (and him and Randy Orton click much better than HHH and Randy Orton) and his promo's are delivered well and can occasionally be really good.
Cena hate is sooooooooo 2006 and was only cool at ONS that year

The look doesn't fit with the whole white bread, whole milk, do the right thing attitude that his character has now. There two types of guys who wear jean shorts: thugs and loser white kids who have no idea how horribly douchy they look. Since Cena is no longer a thug, that only leaves us with one option.

Also really wish he'd stop shaving the sides of his head. Makes him look even more douchy.
