Unless Bats failed a drug test we're getting a triple threat at the Rumble.

I know the kids love him, but come on.

It's not a big deal or anything...but I gotta say it's kinda annoyed me how this is now 4 weeks since Luke Gallows has been around, and he has yet to destroy Slam Master J for being his "enabler". Bet WWE forgot they used to team.

I don't see a problem with much at all on that edition of SmackDown!. CM Punk & Luke Gallows are being pushed as a force. Drew McIntyre is in the middle of his push. Them going over the guys they are feuding with is not a big problem, at all.

Who knows what is going on with that Diva shit. Probably Beth Phoenix saying that she should have been Diva of the Year, as she could destroy Maria anytime she wanted. Beth proves that she can do that later in the night, which is awesome. I'd love to see Phoenix get a "tweener monster-bitch" push. Have her win some Diva Rumble at the Royal Rumble, and use that to get a WrestleMania shot for whichever ladies' title she wants.

The Eric Escobar stuff continues, and I personally don't mind it. Escobar was just over-saturation as another "rising star" heel. As a babyface with the odds stacked against him -- he just may get over. They are running out of guys they can throw at him, though. This needs to go somewhere. Hopefully Escobar's match against Kane isn't a squash, and he manages to get some sort of offense in to look like he can handle his own when allowed to go one-on-one with an opponent.

Chris Jericho vs. The Great Khali may not be the best use of Jericho's talents; but the countout loss to Khali here makes perfect sense. I can see this going on for weeks, and it being a sub-plot during the Royal Rumble.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J could be a highlight of the show. All four are good workers, and hopefully we do get Luke Gallows entering a bit of a program with SMJ soon. JWY is truthfully one of the most exciting performers in the WWE to watch, in my opinion. He never got over his wellness suspension. I'd love to see him actually do something worthwhile. Even if it is just a few matches against CM Punk, or something.

Beth Phoenix's segment with Michelle McCool and Layla is probably her telling McCool that after she's done with the Diva of the Year, she is coming for her.

I thought Batista would win, and become the #1 Contender, but I do like Rey Mysterio getting the shot more. The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio is a completely fresh match. It's got some interesting dynamics to it, too. I see Batista attacking Rey during Taker and Rey's first match, giving Rey the DQ win with the World Title on the line. Both Rey and Taker take exception to this, and we get Taker vs. Rey vs. Batista signed. To build on that, though, I'd consider adding CM Punk, and have Matt Striker bring up that this was the Fatal 4-Way that caused the rift between Batista and Mysterio in the first place.

Then do The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio in a proper singles match -- minus interference sometime after the Rumble.

I like Drew McIntyre, I like CM punk.

The diva shit I could do without, honestly...besides them looking good...it's all a slop mess.

Eric Escobar? Nevermind, Kane beat him.

Yeah I can't wait for a Jericho and Khali program. Sarcasm.

The Hart Dynasty is okay, I really wish they would team up with Legacy.

Batista is boring. Rey going over Bats makes no sense.

The thing that sucks is Escobar is actually a really cool character, in FCW he seemed to come off to me as a really laid back competition playing pro wrestler. And that is refreshing, somebody who isn't exactly a face or a heel, just somebody who views other wrestlers honestly and wrestles to win.

I wish they would push him a lot better than they are, alone, and with enough time to give him a chance.

if Jericho isn't in the title picture then he needs to win the Royal Rumble.

Rey winning kinda makes sense. How many years have the Royal Rumble title matches been given to guys who can fill the role, but have no real chance of winning?

Mysterio/Undertaker is a zillion times better than the epic Hardcore Holly/Brock Lesnar WWE Championship match at the 04 Royal Rumble.

I would love it if Rey beats the Undertaker and then beats Batista at Elimination Chamber then faces CM Punk at WM for the title.

Yeah this is how it's going to be until after the 1/4 episode of Impact vs RAW. The reason why is because WWE apparently wants to show nothing new until after that match is over. So until then, you are only going to get little things, instead of big things
