I'm still not sure about it, since what we've been shown is rather shallow and one-sided (Or as Kalx would call it, GOTY). Still, the concept is good and the visuals are stunning.

didn't see a thread on this and didn't care to search. So if there's another one, fuck you.

Don't believe I've ever made my convictions known on what should be GOTY, so your statement is misleading.

Anyway, this game was brought to my attention some months ago by Khuntri and I haven't kept up with it's production. I don't agree with it's art style and I'm not even sure what genre it is. I'll look into to it. It might be GOTY, right? Right.

After peeping screens and this vid, the art style is fitting. Has a Warcraft feel to it, which I never disliked. The gameplay looks decent and the weapons favor the overall 'mood'. It just seems to play very well, and the camera doesn't look like a chore. The bosses look impressive and I haven't even seen a QTE sequence. I am more interested in the story than playing it, seems like a good graphic novel or animated movie.

I'm on the fence about this. I really wanna put the money down and reserve it, but I don't know what I'm getting into. A demo or a rental at blockbuster may give me a final decision.

I heard it's like Zelda. Get item, beat boss with item, repeat.

We'll see what the reviews say.

LOL Kalyx. How's that Autism Spectrum disorder working out for you?

BDC, you can check Kalyx's link. I copied the shirt directly from the site, so I'm surprised mine fucked, but at least something's up. You should look. It has angels and demons and doesn't feature a retarded protagonist who exists solely as a marketing gimmick to fifteen year old boys.

Seems like it could be a pretty cool game. That's all I think it will be, though. It doesn't seem to be offering forth anything revolutionary. Definitely looks like a fun rent from Blockbuster, though.

Reminds me of Ninja Gaiden, with fewer ninjas and more demons.

I'm gonna go find this today. I hope this isn't $60 bucks wasted with all the good scores I've been hearing.

Wow, I'm really bad for playing demos. I d/l them and then never get around to actually playing them. Running out of HDD space because of it.

This does look good tho. I'm all about the 3rd person action games, especially when coupled with good storyline.

I'll vouch for this game. I've been playing it for a few days now. It's got a blended feel of God of War meets Zelda meets DMC. You go through dungeons solving puzzles, fighting mini bosses, you get a map, a hoardseeker (compass that shows item locations), you even get keys that open certain doors. You fight a boss and repeat. All of the leveling up for your weapons is done via grinding kills as well as spending souls earned from kills, chests, etc to purchase new moves for your weapons. Overall I give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. The game is pretty good, but it's just too short for the price. Plus the hardest difficulty isn't even really that hard. It's easier than Master Ninja, but harder than Wet on Hard Mode. Still, it's a pretty damn good game if you enjoy killing multiple enemies and dismembering limbs and such.
