Didn't really know where to put this, but this forum will do.

Anyway if you have a terrestial channel on, and then you switch to your Digital box and put the same channel on, do you find that the digital is a few seconds behind the terristrial?

Because both the digital boxes in my house are slower, so I was just wondering if it's something in my house or just that digital is generally slower than terrestrial.

Yeah they are slower. Something to do with the digital signal having to do double the distances in transmission signals.

Yeah,same for me.

I was watching the cup semi final in my room on terrestrial and Carroll made a good save or something so i checked my dads reaction and went into the lounge but it hadn't got to it.Just an example.

Yeah I have that problem. When I watch channel five in the lounge, its shit reception, so I use sky digital, and Chelsea scored and I coul hear my brother cheer in the study a couple of seconds before I saw it go in, because terrestial is fine in the study.
