Simple question.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know there have been a few times.

CM Punk being in the doghouse. At first. I suspect that he actually was, but then reports came about that he was, meanwhile he was subtlely being pushed.

Beth Phoenix being pregnant and never coming back, when she was off TV for a month or so for no reason.

I never believe dirt sheets 100% on anything they says unless they source up WWE.com and I go there and check it out. I may believe like 99.7%, but never 100%!

You trust a kayfabe website?

You trust a kayfabe website?

Its called knowin what u doin, if they say "Cena beat up by mysterious man in bar" then I will say thats a storyline, and not trust 100%, but if they say, "Festus Released", I will believe that 100% of course they make pull a fast one on me but u cant be 100% ever, and its still better than trusting "WrestlingReport.com" where they make stuff up.

That's why I only go to the trusted sites who actually have sources inside the business. I won't say they're perfect, but I'll take them over WWE's site. WWE's site doesn't really do anything other than releases anyway, so you get basically no real news there.

Brock Lesnar returning in the Summer 2006 I think it was. WWE.com even had a report on it with a picture of him showing up in Stamford for talks! Then nothing came of it. Thought for sure he'd return at that Summerslam.

Papa Shango being responsible for Bob Backlund "snapping" through voodoo mind control

Sgt Slaughter set to return to the WWF in late 1994 as a top contender for Bret Hart's WWF title

Bad News Brown to return to the WWF in 1998 as Vince McMahon's bodyguard

Macho Man Randy Savage to be the "mystery man" at Survivor Series 1996 (turned out to be Jimmy Snuka)

Shawn Michaels to be Mankind's mystery opponent at Survivor Series 1998 (turned out to be Duane Gill)

I'm pretty sure Christan was the guy "trying to kill Jeff Hardy" and Vince changed it because he was pissed about all the fans knowing whats going to happen.

This is also going by the dirtsheets though, so who knows. I know at this time he was obsessed with stopping internet leaks. It's around when they had the elimination chambers rehearsed underneath giant tarps, and the results of the matches were huge swerves.

LOL WHAT!? They were doing that?

I remember reading that, too. To their credit, it was probably one of the better PPV's on 2009 because of the swerve in the Raw chamber.

it's not like u can't tell when its a lie. e.g: Steve Austin to TNA was absolutely false.

Kurt Angle dropping the title to Brock Lesnar on Raw before Wrestlemania 19, due to his injured neck. They swerved us all on that, and Angle not only regained his title but also went on to compete at Mania when every dirt-sheet was convinced he wasn't fit enough.

Yea Vince was reportedly irate about leaks at the time. They were suspicious of their own talent and employees I guess, so instead of having the main event results visible to every Tom, Dick and Harry on the ring crew and what not, they covered the chambers in huge tarps and went through their practice. Only the wrestlers involved in the chambers knew the drill I guess.

Macho Man Randy Savage to be the "mystery man" at Survivor Series 1996 (turned out to be Jimmy Snuka)

This. I was a huge Savage fan, so I was pumped as hell for his return. And I loved Snuka, but that was a huge letdown for me.
