View Full Version : Raw tokes it up

World Wrestling Entertainment updated its Wellness Policy last week to officially note that any positive test for marijuana will result in a $2,500 fine. Previously, it was a $1,000 fine.

The levied fine was in response to pot usage running rampant throughout the company. With that being said, usage is said to be way down among those on SmackDown, but still reportedly “out of control” among RAW talent.

In the case of alcohol, the policy states that WWE performers are prohibited from “using or consuming alcohol at any time within a twelve hour period prior to any WWE event or WWE scheduled performance.”

So who do you think are the pot heads on Raw?

This explains a lot.

Nobody who isn't high could write let alone act in what RAW puts out.

The entire writing staff needs to start smoking more weed so the storylines aren't as shitty.

I bet MVP smokes it. Hence why it sometimes seems like he doesn't exist.

The Hurricane has to be a big pothead. I could also see Randy Orton taking a couple of bong hits before walking to the ring.

I honestly think that everyone in the creative and marketing departments got an 1/8 of KB for X-mas bonus because they apparently just gave up on creating the shows for the past two weeks.

Nothing has been accomplished and there has been no reason to actually tune in. Yeah, I've been recording Smackdown, but pretty much given up on Raw.

While plugging the annual Tribute to the Troops show during a radio appearance on The Opie & Anthony Show last week, RAW Superstar Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) admitted his fondness for marijuana.

During the radio show appearance, he relayed a story from his recent trip to Iraq where one of the soldiers noted that a lot of marijuana is grown in Afghanistan. He then expressed his disappointment in WWE not going to Afghanistan this year.

MVP also said that while he enjoys smoking pot, he no longer does because the $2,500 fines started to stack up.

MVP then told story about doing a tryout match for TNA and that a “washed-up wrestler” came up to him and told him he was sitting in his seat. He sensed the guy was looking to pick a fight, so he he got up and punched him in the face. When asked who it was, he said that his name rhymes with Maven.

He was also asked about “ring rats” and said he got into the wrestling business ten years too late because there are no longer women waiting by the hotels after shows. MVP blames this on Vince McMahon putting on a PG show.

Orton and Masters have both been in trouble in the past for pot

"Oddly" enough, both are good friends of RVD.

Haha, good ol' MVP. Chris Masters would certainly not surprise me. Nor would guys like Evan Bourne, Carlito, Primo, Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase. Guys that the WWE have expressed interest in pushing in the past, but then suddenly stop dead in their tracks of using. Well, Bourne is sort of getting re-used again, and Legacy have never been "not pushed," but Kofi Kingston and Sheamus have definitely overtaken a lot of them as far as priority goes.
