According to The Sports Courier, chances are high that former WWE performers Ken Anderson, Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman will be debuting on tomorrow night’s three-hour iMPACT broadcast.

In the case of Anderson, there is a 95% chance that the former “Mr. Kennedy” will make his TNA debut tomorrow night. However, in the event he does not appear, “he will in the very near future.”

Regarding Heyman, they were told there is a 75% chance, if not better, that he will debut in TNA. I can confirm that Heyman has indeed had discussions with TNA officials in recent months — though he’d probably deny them if asked.

As has been speculated by numerous websites, Rob Van Dam appears to be headed to TNA. The Sports Courier feels there is a 70% chance of RVD showing up tomorrow night.

It’s also noted that Scott Hall is pretty much a lock to appear tomorrow night, as is Sean Waltman.

i really really really 'The Sports Courier' has it right

Heyman taking over for Russo would be nice to see.

So...95% TNA will be bankrupt in two years?

You can't have Russo, Heyman, and Hogan doing the booking.

That would be insanity.

That would be insanity.
Heyman: "I want a long storyline with a lot of build up!"

Russo: "I want there to be swerves every week!"

Hogan: "I want to go over everyone!"

I'd give TNA serious attention if a) Heyman became head-booker or b) Scott Hall had a prominent role in the company (I'm a huge Hall mark...get it? eh? heh?)

Either one of those things would make me sit through botched angles and WWE-lite.

Yeah, in internet fantasy land.

I doubt a lot of these will actually happen, and in my opinion. It would be a shame if it did. Bringing in a load of old WWE talent hasn't helped so far and it won't help now.

They've been on national TV for over five years, and the "pick up everything WWE discards" didn't start until well after that.

A lot of people the WWE "discards" end up dying.

I predict that their 3 hour live show will be a huge disaster.

And it'll be annoying after about the 5th or 6th "OMG, look who is here!" moment.

Add Team 3D and Rhino to that, and ffs, Jesse Neal since he's with them, and it'd be insane.

I don't see why these things are so hard to believe. This is TNA's biggest chance to make an impact so far. Hulk Hogan is going to be on the show. TNA is the most...legitimate it has ever been right now. Free agents like Ken Anderson are bound to be sought after. Paul Heyman and RVD are less likely, but more likely now than ever. Especially considering Hogan and Russo's past. Heyman probably won't immediately book for TNA, but he'd be a great back-up to have by keeping him signed as a performer.

What's interesting is that Heyman is pretty close to both Ken Anderson and Rob Van Dam. Heyman and RVD's relationship is obvious, but Heyman was one of "Mr. Kennedy's" biggest supporters back when Heyman was running OVW.

Yeah, in internet fantasy land.

You know where you're registered, right?

(Not a shot at TPWW, just an observation of the poster and where he's posting).

Bringing in a load of old WWE talent hasn't helped so far and it won't help now.

Probably won't. But then, I have to disagree with the probability of it happening for just that reason. They've done it a lot. Tomorrow, being a big night, it seems likely they will pull out all the stops, and one of their "brilliant" ideas is to throw more money at more talent.

I'm all but certain they will try and do just this: Bring in some "big names," be they truly big names or just guys who have "WWE jobber" on their resumé. None of these guys seem particularly unfeasible. They may not "save" TNA, but since when has TNA let that stop them? I mean, they're bringing Hogan back....

I agree completely with KK. Although I am not too cynical about the idea. I actually enjoy the depth of the characters in TNA. They are approaching something that I have wanted to see for years -- less clear lines between faces and heels. Characters do things because it suits that particular character. I enjoy the human relationships they have, and I would be very fascinated to see, say, Tommy Dreamer in this environment.

And hey, they just signed Bubba The Love Sponge. Who says they won't try for guys that are actually relevant to wrestling?

tomorow night looks better and better

Yea, for WWE.
If we have the two men who ruined WCW and the man that wanted to ruin them in the same building... It'll be as confusing as a match where you need to qualify in the match to win... or a reverse battle royal.... or (insert random TNA booking reference here)! That last one is CRAZY!!!!

Yeah another ECW invasion! Woohoo! Like we haven't seen enough ECW invasions... :shifty:
