Post your comparisons of the two shows here along with moments you thought were awesome, mediocre or shit.

TNA
Good: Great match between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles
Bad: Two diva matches and a lot of sloppy production values.
The Ugly: Tie between the opening match and the resurrection of WCW.

Questions: Was Homicide supposed to defiantly climb out of the cage and fight Jeff Hardy on top?
Did Bischoff really think his changes to the "format" were that great (other than Angle VS. AJ?
Did the show play out like it was intended as a nod to smarks personally to anyone else???
Was there really supposed to be a Barbwire Massacre Match tonight or is that at the PPV?
What's the new Main-Event of Genesis going to be? Sting VS. AJ? Nash VS. AJ? Hogan? X-pac? Hall?
Did anyone else mark out like I did when Scott said, "Hey yo!"?

WWE
Good: Tie between Bret Hart's forgiving HBK and Kofi VS. Orton (I thought it was a great match.
Bad: DX segment was stupid and Jericho's off RAW. Though the match was good it ended predictably. What was the point of making Sheamie and Bourne a non-title match if the Irish Conundrum was just going to squash the Spirited Little Person?
Ugly: Stupid Diva Match, Vince McMahon and Bryan Danielson VS. Chavo was a dark match.

Raw

Good: Every match seemed to mean something on Raw.

Bad: Crowd reaction.

Haven't seen Impact yet.

<font color=goldenrod>I didn't mind that TNA had two divas matches, because their divas can actually work. Made for an easy decision when the divas tag match went head-to-head with the divas match on Raw.

To be honest, TNA had my attention most of the night because of the random pop-ups and the fact that Raw felt like another run of the mill show. I only really had Raw on during the opening segment...I even missed out on the first few minutes of the Bret/Vince confrontation because I was watching the end of the Angle/Styles match (and I figure Bret/Vince is running til WM anyway)</font>

I couldn't say which show was better because I only saw a couple clips of Raw. The Styles/Angle match was enough to have even non-wrestling people on the edge of their seat. The fact that it ended cleanly has to make this one the winner of the night.

I was confused about the whole Hogan/Jarrett thing because Jarrett was cutting a face promo and then Hogan was making him out to be the bad guy. The Impact audience wasn't sure what to think either.

Yes, TNA does have a number of commercial breaks, probably because it brings in more money that way. However, did anyone notice that a number of the breaks were lined up almost exactly with Raw's? I wanted to flip to Raw during the breaks but it seemed like Raw was also on a break a lot of the time.

As Vito said, Raw really did seem like a regular deal show from what I saw.

I honestly think TNA was slightly better only for Angle/AJ, was an amazing match and I think put it over for me in the end.

That said, TNA dropped the ball, popped it and burned it. They may have a good in-ring product, but so did WCW, and I still preferred WWF.

TNA is changing for the worse. I'll watch a few weeks just to see if things change, but I have a feeling things are going to drop, and fast.

I'm looking forward to the ratings, though.

TNA had some good points but, they buried the X Division, confused the audience with the whole NWO thing and Hogan/Jarrett angle. They did a lot of stuff that was sort of like, "wink, wink". Them ripping up the "format" and replacing it with a "format" was dumb. They should have played it like they were going to let it all hang loose, just go crazy.

Paul Heyman had nothing to do with the show. RVD was not there.

:/

The Knockouts Tag Match I thought was pretty good. The Knockouts single Championship match was lacking quite a bit as it was only about 4 minutes long. For a company that says they pride themselves on the Knockout division, come on.

I guess Paul Heyman and RVD had a 0% chance of showing up, after all.

You hear that? That's the sound of a WrestleMania payout going out the window.

And that's the sound of TNA taking a pretty big risk in bringing him back, even though he may be sent up the river.

Swiss Ultimate

He said as he was leaving that nothing was for sure.

I just think if he's innocent he should have gone back to the WWE and entered the Money in the Bank Ladder Match along with Punk. Would have been good.

There was a rumor that WWE was going to bring him in for Punk vs Hardy at Mania. Obviously won't happen now.

I had a problem with the way Tenay and Taz reacted with all of the debuts. They needed to be more excited about them. Otherwise, I enjoyed Impact more than Raw. Raw was average, even with Bret.

I liked TNA, thought WWE was boring except for bret and shawn. Did anyone else mark out for sting in the raffters. (i did but i was also a big fan of WCW, and sting then.)

The Show Off

RAW

The Good:
--Any moment Bret was on screen.
--The Miz coming along as quite a good worker.
--Randy Orton/Kofi Kingston match

The Bad:
--Hornswoggle, Hornswoggle, Hornswoggle.
--Chris Jericho continually being made to look like a bitch.
--The overall blandness of the show.

The Ugly:
--As always the WWE runs a "pretty" show, if not bland.

IMPACT!

The Good:
--AJ/Angle putting on a great match and Hogan flat out calling them the best wrestlers in the world.
--Pretty much every winner of a match was a TNA home grown talent.
--Teasing but not giving away a face to face confilt between Foley & Hogan or Sting & Hogan.
--The big night feel of the show.
--Hogan actually establishing that "You have to be in it 4 Real" indicating a serious willingness to victory.

The Bad:
--Homicide going from bad ass to laughing stock in a matter of a minute. Not being able to get out of the Steel Asylum might be a very talented Homicide's "Shockmaster" moment, which would be a shame.
--Jarrett not being established as either a heel or face... Tweener for him just won't do.
--Too many commercial breaks.
--I don't recall one time TNA mentioning when you can normally watch Impact, a big over sight.

The Ugly:
--Going up against Raw shows how low budget TNA looks.
--The Steel Asylum is too blocky for proper viewership.

Is Hogan meant to be tweener? It seems like he's going for the 'I'll do whatever I want' type boss, where sometimes he'll do stuff and be cheered, sometimes he'll do stuff we won't like.

I enjoyed Impact a lot more than Raw, I always do though.

Impact was good, but could have been a lot better.

RAW:

Good: Everything with Hart.

Bad: Divas.

Ugly: Just how out and out boring the show is. And how terrible the crowds are. This isn't really specific to this RAW though. Although it's a shame the crowds aren't hot like the late 90s early 00's - imagine a Bret return with one of them crowds.

IMPACT

Good:
- The quality of the matches, AJ/Kurt especially.
- The debuts, unexpected ones like Val Venis.
- The huge feel of the night.
- The crowd, aside from way over-doing the 'THIS IS AWESOME' chants. They're passionate and it's nice to see the bundle at ringside bouncing around in excitement after a 'big move'.

Bad and Ugly mixed into one:
- The lack of clarity TNA often has. Distinguishing who's heel and who's face. Hogan/Jarrett/Foley
- Following up from that, the Bobby Lashley segment. WTF, was that a heel turn?
- The Steel Asylum match. Awful finish. And, like someone else said, you can barely see what's happening in the ring, the bars of the asylum are far too thick.
