I'm hoping to appeal to any Rocketeer fans we have here, I myself being one. Always hoping and praying a game like that comes around other than the couple Nintendo games that came out. But this looks like "the one".

Anyway, as far as details go. Airtight Games made it, a group founded by the team who put together Crimson Skies. Capcom is gonna publish it. The demo hit Xbox Live last night and PS3 users should find it on the Store today. I played this morning and I like that I see. Now if only there was proof that the Cliff Secord costume and rocketpack was in that game....

Here's a preview, the game hits shelves on Jan. 19.

I DL'ed the demo, in no small part because of the rocketeer comparison that also sparked in my mind. Haven't played it yet, but it's catching a lot of shit already.

As usual, I'll play it before I make up my mind, but....

Didn't like it. Flight controls are ok, but just found the overall experience abit meh.

I liked flying around pretending this was a Rocketeer game only to have to land and play a ho-hum shooter. Liked the free falling though.

Yeah, the ground elements were really lackluster. I felt like I was playing a fifth rate Gears clone or something. Probably wouldn't care it was a generic shooter if it wasn't such a bad attempt.
