I was just thinking, Vince is a half-decent brawler and knows his way around a ring to a point. Anyone know who his main trainer was who trained him?

Don't recall him having any kind of training or at least any being mentioned in books by people like Austin, Flair, HBK, Trips, Foley etc (guys he's 'worked' with) They do however all seem to mention how he potatoes the shit out of people and considering other stuff he seems to do in matches (aka fuck all), my guess at an answer to the original question would be 'nobody'.

World Championship Wrestling

In May 1997, Richards suffered a neck injury so severe that he announced his retirement, before recovering and signing with WCW. He wrestled briefly as a member of Raven's Flock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven%27s_Nest#The_Flock) but failed his physical exams and left WCW in December of the same year. Richards commented on The Rise and Fall of ECW (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rise_and_Fall_of_ECW) DVD that Raven had told him that he was only there to be his "bitch lackey", and that he would get him fired if he pushed for more of a larger role, knowing both would suffer for demanding more than what was above their current status.

In 1999, Richards would sign with the WWF in a full-time capacity. He would make his WWF debut on the August 15, 1999 episode of Sunday Night Heat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_Heat) helping out his old tag team partner, The Blue Meanie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blue_Meanie). The two briefly became a tag team before taking on the gimmick of an impersonator. Mocking various then-current characters, he would appear, among others, as an Acolyte, a Dudley Boy, a member of the Brood until briefly settling on Mick Foley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Foley)'s old Dude Love persona. Once he was done with the Dude Love character, Richards would go on to portray Test (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Martin), Chyna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chyna), and Chris Jericho (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Jericho) before suffering an ankle injury. He returned to a stint on WWF's tertiary shows (Jakk'ed and Metal), in which he largely found himself on the losing end of several matches.
Didn't Vince wrestle Austin Feburary 1999?

I know Stevie was responsible in training Shane, but I'm not sure about Vince though.

I remember reading that Steven Richards was always a favourite worker of Vince's. The same goes for Nunzio. I'm surprised that Nunzio didn't get kept on as a producer once he stint as a referee ended, or that Richards hadn't been re-hired as a producer yet.
