Yeah, I'd put The Hart Dynasty next in line for a shot at the gold, but then hot on their heels, I'd have to put Cryme Tyme in the picture after.

Well.... Tag Team wrestling has souther origins and Vince is obviously not cool with the south and has always been different than the southern more wrestling oriented style. Also, I don't think that Vince see's Tag Teams as a draw. Which is true. Right now. However if they could spend money and time putting guys together giving them good gimmicks, and had 8 or so good tag teams, WWE would make a ton of money off of it. I think that Jeri-Show was the start of something potentially good to make Tag Team wrestling a force in WWE.
Hopefully DX with either hold the titles for a while and make them mean something by feuding with people worth watching. Or they will drop them to The Hart Foundation and tag team wrestling will remain the last stop before being wished well on your future endeavors.
You want Tag Teams? Watch ROH or TNA.

Horseshit. Tag team wrestling doesn't draw when you don't build a legitimate division. The WWF's tag team division in the 80s was as popular as anything on any card aside from Hogan. From the Attitude Era through the Invasion the Tag scene with the Hardys, E&C, and the Dudleys was some of the hottest material going.
Personally I wonder if these days wrestlers just don't want to be "tied down" or "pigeonholed" as a tag team. In the best days of tag wrestling, teams went on through years together. Now it seems like plans to split up a team are formed at the same time as the team itself. Tag wrestling would draw like nobody's business if they'd stick with something for a while. You're just providing a cop-out by saying tag wrestling "doesn't draw."

There is more money in Singles wrestling, and therefore aren't as many good tag teams out there today as there were in the past.

:y:
Attitude era tag wrestling was hot. Look at what the division consisted of;
New Age OUtlaws
Hardy Boyz
Edge and Chrisitan
The Acolytes/APA
WWE has some tag teams worth a damn right now, and if they would actually try to build around the younger ones, like the Hart Dynasty, Legacy or, hell, even Cryme Tyme, you could actually start engaging interest. People are only going to care about a product when you build and promote it as something worth carying about. I really though JeriShow was going to drop the belts to someone worhtwhile, but instead they went to DX. Useless.

I can think of at least two tag teams in the history of this sport that'd argue this point. 1 of them is the Road Warriors. The other is the Freebirds.

I think Legacy could be a huge deal for Rhodes and Diabiase if the keep them togther for at least another year. They are just now getting good as a team, and both are improving week by week. I know they will destroy this good thing like always, but if they want a tag division, why rush pushing these guys as singles when they will do much more damage as a team.
