Looks like a good show. Jericho/Morrison could be one for the books.

I guess this means we can count HHH, HBK, and Punk out of the RR. If this match is taking place at RR that is. If it does, that really means Kofi, Cena, Dibiase, or Jericho are winning the RR. Think about it.
Taker vs Rey (with the possibility Batista gets added)
Sheamus vs Orton (with the possibility Cena gets added)
Punk/Gallows vs HHH/HBK
Christian vs Zeke
If MVP vs Miz happens at RR also, then you have a RR that mostly includes people who have never won it so we are almost certain to get a new face in the main event scene, unless Edge returns and wins.
Do we know who is already in the rumble yet by any chance? Might make it easier to figure who the favorite is.
So far I only have: Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase
Mark Henry and Evan Bourne

Yeah, I don't see either of them winning tbh Juan.
Yeah me either. I was telling you who was in the Rumble

Yeah I know and I edited the post before that and found out Rhodes and Dibiase were in it too. Thanks Juan.
Great, now I look like an ass. Thanks Ermax

How do you look like an ass? I don't see that. You were just sharing info and I thanked you.
I was kidding, Ermax. Relax ;)

Don't worry man, it takes a whole lot than that to get me worked up. I unlike others know how to keep cool on the internet, unlike some people. Cue the 86!!!

Ermax, you're such a delight
Y'know before Batista and Rey started feuding I could care less for either one but this ongoing saga has me honestly interested in them both

I really don't see Rey vs Taker being a singles match. I reall see Batista getting in there some way. Should Taker retain though, and Jericho wins the Rumble, that would be absolutely amazing.

Yeah but he'll probably drop it at No Way Out or whatever it's called now. It seems they are building on Taker/HBK II

Smackdown's Main Event got spoiled for me today when I looked at the Royal Rumble's Wikipedia page. :nono:

Wouldn't it have made more sense for Matt Hardy to team with R-truth?
R-Truth was in South Carolina filming an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition last night.

If the tag team title match takes place at the rumble, there is going to have to be a couple of people pulling double-duty that night... or that is going to be one shitty Royal Rumble match.

I can see Taker getting screwed out of the title by HBK somehow at Elimination Chamber, and that's what sets the match up

Punk/Gallows vs DX should be interesting.

Punk/Gallows vs DX should be an interesting feud as long as WWE doesn't have Punk/Gallows getting squashed as a team. That was my main complaint with the Jerishow-DX feud that once DX won, they just squashed or "ruined" potential quality rematches. Could have extended that feud a bit longer than they did.
Punk might even get a reference of how he out-popped DX a few years ago during Summerslam to get even more cockier as a character (similar to Jericho bragging how his tag title reign was something that made him better than Triple H who never had one).

DX vs. The Straight-Edge Society will be awesome. Should be a great teaser for a CM Punk vs. Shawn Michaels feud. Personally, I actually think Punk & Gallows could win the titles, so Punk can go around to all three brands, claiming to be "The Straight-Edge Savior."
If this is the return of a massive heel push for Punk, more power to him. Rumours still persist that the WWE is thinking about doing Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk in a Mask vs. Hair Match. If Shawn Michaels costs The Undertaker the title against Rey Mysterio, they could conceivably do this for the World Heavyweight Title.
But I don't see DX vs. Punk & Gallows taking place at the Royal Rumble. I see them interacting in the Rumble, however.

I'm glad Jericho got a win. That match should be worth watching as well. The whole show sounds pretty good.
Shame about Ziggler but at least he's being used.
I doubt the Tag Title match will be on PPV. I'm expecting the worst, but if the worst means CM Punk and HBK hook up for a small amount of time. It's worth it. I could see Punk slipping into the Jericho role on Raw very nicely if they do win the titles though.

The fact that Ziggler is now on a 3 match series with Kane, with the score now being 1 up with a draw, shows at the very least that they still care about him. I'm thinking a big payoff on SmackDown for the rubber match and some interaction at the Rumble.
Can't wait to watch, honestly. SmackDown's been incredibly enjoyable for quite some time now. This show sounds no different.
By the way, I would not mind one bit seeing Rey and Punk in a hair v mask match, even if it's for the WHC.
